Annapolis Bay House BOAT SHOW & USNA Families 2 Bedroom with Den sleeps 5

Charming Bay Cottage just steps from a beautiful beach and the Chesapeake Bay, a short drive or walk to the crabbing and fishing pier and easy boat access at Sandy Point Park. USNA - 5 miles away and Families LOVE this house! The home is ranch style with hardwood floors, new carpeting and some new furnishings; a large screened in porch with a large table and ceiling fans. The 3rd bedroom is the den a day bed .

Although the house has a somewhat obstructed view of the Bay, this is a wonderful location and short drive to Historic Annapolis Downtown. If you have your own kayaks or a canoe the Little Magothy is a short walk from the house and a very calm and scenic water way.
HISTORIC ANNAPOLIS is approx. 7 miles away, and easily reached by traveling Rt. 50. The property holds 5 people comfortably and has 2 full bathrooms and an outside shower. Parking: Plenty of parking with 2 spots available in the driveway, and 2 street side. This is a non smoking home. No House parties and no parties at the private community beach. For parties and pavilion rentals please contact SANDY POINT STATE PARK approx. 4-5 miles from the house.

Grocery Store 1 mile from the house: Graul's Market Cape St. Claire location.

Great trip, great house

2 night weekend trip with the family to check out USNA. House was perfect for us and the kids. Grill and back porch were perfect for grilling and meals. Check in and out was super easy, and comms with owner were great. Highly recommended for any family looking for a quiet, easy getaway to Annapolis, but away from the downtown bustle.

Quiet retreat close to Annapolis

We loved the clean, comfortable property in this quiet neighborhood. The house was well stocked and within walking distance to the neighborhood beach and park. It’s a short drive to Annapolis, but there are also restaurants and a grocery store nearby which were great options on a busy holiday weekend. Sharon was easy to communicate with and proactive in reaching out to us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

This home exceeded our expectations! It's very well maintained, nicely decorated, and had several very nice features. We loved spending time on the screened in porch and appreciated the outdoor shower for rinsing off sand. It's within easy walking distance of the beach and in a quiet community. The host is an excellent communicator and very responsive. Great experience all around for our family!

Convenient, Clean & Comfortable

We needed a place to stay in our neighborhood while we were moving out of our house. Sharon's place was a terrific refuge from the packing/moving craziness. Communication was great; Sharon worked with us to make our stay everything we needed it to be. The house was clean and had all the kitchen tools and other amenities that made family living possible.

Our East Coast cottage

This is our 4th stay. We love the value, location, and water accessibility. This is an easy, short drive to USNA, which is what brings us to the area. We just commissioned our last child, and sadly won’t be back (most likely), but will 200 pct recommend Sharon’s Bach cottage to anyone looking for a quaint place to stay. The outdoor space is a bonus, and sitting beachside in the evening to relax after a long day is one of our favorite things to do. 10 out of 10!!

Perfect location for USNA events!

This house is in such a beautiful location! We loved that we were a quick 10-15 minute drive to USNA but while we were at the house, our Plebe could just relax and feel like we were far away! :) Short walk to a local park with beach access. Park had a playground that the kids enjoyed! Sharon was easy and pleasant to work with and she allowed us to pay extra and have a late check out which was wonderful! Also, having washing/dryer in the house is super useful! My husband has allergies to some pets, the previous occupants or owner has some animal (s) in the home before us which gave the back rooms in the house a smell and caused his allergies to act up pretty bad. Great little grocery store is a mile away, so we made a quick trip to pick up some meds and he was ok. Also, be sure to note...all linens (towels, sheets, ect) have to be washed and dried and put away prior to check out!!! If we didn't have a late check out, that would have been a huge issue since we didn't realize that until later on check out day...so just be aware of that! Overall, great place and I'd highly recommend it!

I am a pet friendly home as noted, and only for small dogs under 15 lbs. which are permitted. I provide bath, hair, and wash towels, kitchen towels, blankets and sheets and pillow cases too. As noted under the description block there is a Laundry fee of $40.00 which is an Optional choice should any guest not wish to take the time to wash and dry and fold the linens used. I'm glad you enjoyed your time in our Beach Bay Community and hope to see you again in the future! Sincerely, Sharon **2018 WE ARE NO LONG A PET FRIENDLY PROPERTY. We were here for Parent’s Weekend at the USNA. This was a great place to stay and relax. Very comfortable and clean and the house has everything you need. We enjoyed a family meal on the beautiful porch and time at the beach. Groceries, coffee, pizza and ice cream were only five minutes away. The host was fantastic. We will be back.

A peaceful Bay Cottage

We first found this little gem 4 yrs ago, bringing our son to the Naval Academy. And booked it for the 2nd time this week for his Graduation. We have also requested another weeks stay in the future. We love the location! And private beach. Our favorite spot is the screened in porch….making additional living space in the outdoors. The ceiling fans make it most comfortable. Feels like home on the Bay.

Just a short note, to respectfully reply to the review: The Cottage was built in the 1940’s and one of the unique finds in the Cape which we have owned for 20 years. But that doesn’t mean we have materials dated from that year in our home; although we do have an older style refrigerator in the kitchen, every other appliance is updated to stainless steel appliances. We have 3 bedroom bureaus that I would say are a ‘Shabby Chic’ collection and kinda cool, including 2 antique mirors. All of the rugs are a two years old and clean, our bedding, pillows and linens are like ‘new’ comfortable, completely updated at all times and designed for the décor of each room. The Living Room furtniture was replaced 2 seasons ago; and new throw rugs are throughout the home, replaced when worn. We are so happy we get to share this comfortable cottage with familes all over the world. We are glad to have your family back for another visit anytime; perhaps “summertime” to enjoy the beach & the Chesapeake Bay! Best Wishes, Sharon

Peaceful home away from home

Sharon keeps this home impeccably clean and well appointed! There was nothing that we needed for our comfort that was not provided. The screened-in back patio was spacious and inviting. The twinkle lights gave it a magical glow at night. The living room was comfortable for us to spend time together as a family.
