Great spot in the heart of Beech Mountain town. Walking distance to Fred's, Brick Oven, and everything else worth doing in town. Just a 10-minute drive down the mountain to Banner Elk. And the barbecue downstairs from the unit is worth giving a try. to
The hosts were wonderful and made sure we had what we needed when we arrived, including making sure we had access to the private parking away from shop/restaurant traffic. We dropped our equipment rental at Beech and rented direct from White Wolf when we arrived which was excellent service and convenient allowing us to skip the lines at Beech and walk right onto the slopes from the rental. Just an easy 1/4 mile walk. The restaurant and shop are great and super convenient when you’re staying in the chalets. Definitely recommend and will return. Chalet was clean and as described. Only change from the photos was it had a Keurig as opposed to pot for coffee. Easy adjustment. Great overall stay.
Very comfortable accommodations. The town is beautiful, the views to die for and the locals are flush with southern charm. When following directions to the location you will be by a BBQ restaurant. The chalets are on the back of the restaurant. Be advised, there are lots of steps to get into the chalet. There are lots of steps every due the mountainous terrain. Property manager is wonderful.
Really happy with this place. The views are incredible, it was a perfect size for 2 people. They did a lot with a little space. Things were pretty clean and in decent shape. It's nothing fancy but it was everything we could ask for. I was a little confused by the check in instructions and wasn't able to find the room at first. It's jut not super clear that the rooms are in the same building as the BBQ restaurant. Also, I was hoping to have one of the ready made breakfast sandwiches but there weren't any made on the 2 days we stayed there. Not horrible but a bit of a bummer.
Great place! Highest town East of The Rockies. Not much within walking distance but found some great spots going down the mountain. Nice and cool. Boone and Blowing Rock just a short drive down. We will be back.
The cabin is awesome, there’s all that we needed to spend holiday and the facilities in the store made our stay more comfortable.
The manager Trisha is very kindly.
I definitely recommend.
Thank you 😊
The property is very clean! It was listed as a Chalet but it didn’t say anything about being on top of a restaurant and ski shop. The walls were thin and you could hear everything from the units beside you and below you such a doors closing and people talking/ music playing. The view was incredible from the front porch and we really enjoyed that! It’s not a long Drive to get to main attractions! Overall, it was a pleasant experience!
