About this property

rural, spacious detached house, sauna, (play) garden

Our former house has been converted into a very spacious holiday home. The spacious house has a very complete separate kitchen, front room (with fireplace) and rear (dining room) with stained-glass doors, toilet downstairs. Upstairs there are three spacious bedrooms with extra long box spring beds (they are beautifully made), a luxurious bathroom with separate shower and whirlpool bath. There are plenty of towels available. Upstairs there is a separate toilet room.
There are board games, books and toys available.
You have a view of the meadows, forests (Salland Ridge). Outside you have a private garden with two terraces (a terrace with lounge sofa and the other with a dining table and chairs). The house has a beautiful veranda built where you can enjoy delicious. The holiday home has its own driveway and two spacious parking spaces.
At the house is a playground. Here you will find a cabin, swing, slide, trampoline and seesaw. There is a brand new barrel sauna from Red Cedar (6 persons), we have hammam towels for you to use, only your own bath slippers you have to bring. To cool off there is a cold shower.
Finally, we have (very tame) chickens, sheep. It is possible to pick up your own eggs! In the spring there are always born lambs, wonderful to experience!
If you choose to Preserve Look to come and enjoy your holiday, you need to take your personal belongings except nothing. Everything is there in the house. The beds are made, there are plenty of towels and kitchen towels are provided. You can also make free use of a dishwasher, washer and dryer, which are present in the home.
In addition, you can use wireless free WIFI.
NEW: from 2018 it is also possible to rent bicycles with us for a reasonable amount! We have Gazelle bicycles with 7 gears.
At the weekend the holiday home can only be booked from Friday to Monday. We request that you take this into account in your booking request.
A rental per week applies to the summer holidays. In consultation this can be deviated from.

Joke is a fantastic hostess of exceptional homeliness. She went to great lengths to help us.

Joke was very kind, as soon as we were welcomed by her we knew that we were going to have a fantastic stay. She was available if we needed her and it felt special when she helped us with a small medical emergency. She helped us communicate with Dutch NHS 24. The house is lovely and exceptionally clean, facilities are superb for laundry and dish washing. We used the sauna a few times and the kids used the trampoline many tines. It was also exciting for the kids to go out in the morning and check for eggs at the chicken coup. Jokes family is lovely and our grandson played with Jokes 2 boys all 5 days. If I were in that part of Holland again we would stay with Joke.

Easter at Erve Look

We thoroughly enjoyed a relaxed Easter week at Erve Look. The house offered plenty of space for us all and was well equipped. Should the weather keep you indoors, there were lots of games to choose from in the cupboard, pass the pigs has made a revival with our girls! There is also a TV with satellite and DVD player, plenty of options for DVD’s, though not all have English available… good way to practice your Dutch. Outside in the large garden was a see-saw, swings, trampoline, play fort and numerous small toys. There are also chickens and a couple of sheep and lambs to keep you company while you enjoy the garden area. Kitchen was well equipped, anybody wishing to cook food in the oven will have to use the combination microwave, which was easy to use and took around the same time to cook on the few occasions we needed it. The central heating worked well and it was nice to arrive to a warm house on a cold morning. Erve Look is roughly 1 ½ hours drive East from Amsterdam which placed us in a great position to visit Arnhem & Nijmegen (both about 1 hour) and Germany (Osnabruck & Munster both 1 ½ hour drive). The house is located in beautiful farm and woodland surroundings and we loved seeing the new lambs in the field every morning. The location offered plenty of scope for cycling and walking, some routes were helpfully included in the welcome book. Henk & Joke were very friendly and answered any questions we had during the week all while still managing to gives us lots of privacy. Thank you for a wonderful relaxed break.

Heerlijk ontspannen mini-vakantie

We hebben een midweek in het vakantiehuis doorgebracht. Wat een fijn huis op een mooie plek is dit zeg! Het huis is ruim, netjes en schoon. De sauna en het bad maken met extra ontspannen. De verhuurders zijn erg vriendelijk en gastvrij. Echt een aanrader!

Een aanrader

We hebben een heerlijke jaarwisseling gehad in Erve Look. We werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen en het huisje zelf had alles wat je je maar wensen kunt, heel compleet en comfortabel ingericht en rustig gelegen. Ons gezelschap (met volwassen kinderen plus aanhang en vader op leeftijd) varieerde van dag tot dag en dat was geen enkel probleem voor de verhuurders. Een aanrader, zeker voor grotere gezelschappen!

Nette Gastgeber und ein wirklich schönes Haus

Wir haben mit der Familie ein schöne Woche verbracht. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und schön eingerichtet. Zusätzlich sind die Gastgeber sehr herzlich, haben uns mit einer Kleinigkeit begrüßt und auch persönlich verabschiedet und sich für unseren Besuch bedankt. Wunderbares Objekt

Wir hatten einen tollen 2-wöchigen Urlaub. Es ist ein idyllisch gelegenes Ferienhaus mit viel Platz für die Kinder zum Toben, einem tollen Trampolin, Sauna, Schafe und Hühner. Auch im Haus selbst war alles vorhanden, was man benötigen könnte. Wir hatten hier einen Traumurlaub. Klare Empfehlung!

Supermooi huis met adembenemend uitzicht!

Groot vrijstaand huis, landelijke ligging, zeer kind vriendelijk, speelgoed zowel binnen alsook buiten in overvloede aanwezig. Schapen en kippen maken de unieke locatie compleet. Landhuis van alle gemakken voorzien, in omgeving leuke activiteiten te plannen. Shetlandmanege een echte aanrader! Lieve gastvrije verhuurders, mooie bloemen en lekkers stond bij aankomst klaar.

Rustig gelegen compleet verblijf

We hebben deze woning als zeer fijn ervaren. Alles was keurig en schoon. Het is een heel compleet huis met ruime kamers en gezellige sfeer. De eigenaren zijn bijzonder vriendelijk. Het ligt heel mooi aan de rand van Holten en je hebt heerlijk vrij uitzicht. In de ochtend op de fiets naar de bakker is goed te doen en Holten heeft veel restaurants. De omgeving is heerlijk om te fietsen en de tuin met trampoline en voetbal was genieten voor de kinderen. Verse eitjes en gezellige schapen. Kortom even heerlijk bijkomen op deze lokatie.

Het was top!

We hebben genoten van het smaakvol ingerichte huis, met leuke details, en voorzien van alle gemak. Er was een houtkachel met hout voorraad zodat we de avonden lekker vuurtje konden stoken terwijl het buiten ging sneeuwen. Het leek wel een wellness weekend met sauna, bubbelbad, badjassen en handdoeken. Bovendien hadden we het geluk dat we door de sneeuw naar de sauna konden lopen. De gastvrouw heeft ons alleraardigst ontvangen en bij vertrek geholpen de auto uit de sneeuw te graven. Een aanrader.

Een heerlijk verblijf

Een warme ontvangst in een compleet en comfortabel huis. Zelfs aan kerstversiering was gedacht. De omgeving is heerlijk om te wandelen en er zijn fantastische mtb routes. Voor vragen zijn Joke en Henk Jan altijd dichtbij. Wij komen nog wel een keer terug!

De woning is erg leuk, lekker schoon, heel erg compleet, alles is er. Mooie slaapkamers, maar één slaapkamer is wel klein. Het was jammer dat het veel regende, anders hadden we ook lekker buiten kunnen zitten onder de mooie overkapping.

gastvrij en huiselijk

Een smaakvol ingericht huis met een warme ontvangst en ook iets lekkers in de koelkast voor de gasten. De sauna was erg fijn en knus. De keuken was van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijk om wakker te worden van het gekakel van de haan en het blaten van de schapen, en dan een prachtig uitzicht zodra je de gordijnen open doet. Een echt aanrader voor wie rust zoekt, en graag wil wandelen of fietsen.

We live in the house naerby the appartment and live with pleasure in Holten. There are lot of things to do. You can see the "Sallendse Heuvelrug" from our holiday home. The swimmingpool is within walkingdistance.
In the village are enough shops.

Why they chose this property

We would like to introduce you to the peace and quiet that our spacious holiday offers! Plenty of privacy, both at home as well as in the spacious garden, where many toys are present and the children can play safely. Yet within 5 minutes in the village.

What makes this property unique

Enjoy with us the peace and space both indoors and outdoors as well, but you can, if you wish, found within a few kilometers entertainment. Really something for everyone! You can also pick your own eggs and cuddling chickens / rabbits :-)
