Great location for walking downtown Bardstown. Parking was a breeze with a dedicated parking lot in the back of the property. No issues-would stay again, host is very attentive at sending all necessary details. I will pack lighter next time as carrying my large suitcase up the steps proved difficult, but that’s my fault!

This is the cutest apartment right in downtown Bardstown. It’s close to everything and perfect for all the little shops down the street! It was perfect for us. We did have someone who has challenges with stairs and we missed this in the reviews. Other than that, perfect stay!

VRBO was as described. Others have mentioned the outdoor stairs, but we always used the inside ones which were nicer. The place was perfect for our needs. It was nice being in the heart of everything, yet we heard no traffic. Communications were good. Overall we were satisfied and would return if we’re ever headed back that way.

Unfortunately, the rental did not meet our expectations. Location was as expected but there were many misconceptions. Entrance to rental lobby was not secure. No keypad as indicated. Anyone from street could enter building at any time. There were many steps to the front door of the rental. Entering the rental you walked right into the bedrooms. Master bathroom has no door. Second bathroom was off kitchen. No TV access available. No dishwasher or washer/dryer if you are staying more than a day. Bed in master was uncomfortable and made lots of noise. Unacceptable! Back steps from parking lot to apartment were not safe in our opinion. Communication with owner was slow and did not answer our questions. Would not stay here again.

The upstairs apartment is downtown over a business. It was very noisy from traffic. It is an old building with steep metal stairs. It was convenient to downtown. Was adequately furnished & clean. Beds were comfortable. No view but older buildings & an alley.
