I will be delighted you will be staying in my flat, av de Friedland. I am sure you will be enjoy by this flat and its location. I rent it since 8 years now and I remodel every parts. It’s my own flat and I lived in during 10 years, but I have a family now, with 2 children and it’s a little to small for all over the year. When I have free renter time, we like with my family to spend a week-end inside, my children love this place and I can verify that everything is well working. My other job is lighting product designer, and I have my own small company. I live in Paris, and this is why I will always meet you at your arrival and at your departure. My passion is travelling far away in Usa, China, Japan, Russia, India, Burma, Madagascar, etc…

Superb location, comfortable with all amenities.
Wonderful property and all the information provided by Philippe was well appreciated. Comfortable apartment for family of 5. Location is 5 star. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Paris.
Philippe's loft was ideal for our family of 4 ( including 2 teenagers ). It was centrally located with Line 1 of the Metro right outside our door. The apartment was clean and extremely well equipped and Philippe has ensured that there are instructions for every appliance. The beds were very comfortable with crisp linens and the bathroom had plenty of towels.
Philippe met us promptly at the assigned time and showed us around the apartment on our arrival. He has many Paris guidebooks and neighbourhood information that came in very handy and he communicated with us over our stay when we had questions.
We had a wonderful vacation in Paris, and being able to come home to Philippe's apartment every night was a big part of that.
Philippe is a considerate and welcoming host.
Spacious, Cozy Loft with Character
Loved staying here -- one of the best parts of our girls' trip to Paris. It was spacious, cozy, and essentially fully equipped (i.e. kitchen utensils, spices, coffee machine, washer machine, working outlets, computer with printer, etc). Water in shower was extremely hot but happy we even had hot water. Philippe was available at all times and kindly allowed us to drop our bags off earlier than common check-in time. Location was central (right by the metro) and in a very safe area. 100% would recommend and look forward to coming back! Thanks Philippe!
A week in Paris
We had a good time overall
The appartement is very small mostly the bathroom
A lot of dust
Philippe was communicating often with us, but our plane was delayed by a day and he made us pay that night and rented it to someone else the same night. The appartement was not ready when we got there because of that which was really disappointing. He did not suggest to reimburse that night and I don’t find this is honest at all. This leaves me with a bad feeling of Parisian concerning tourism...
I understand your message as it’s very unpleasant to miss a holidays day because of your cancel flight and how was difficult your week with the biggest strike in France since 10 years, with no subway, but why I am responsible of this ???
Like I said you, I DO NOT RENT THE NIGHT YOU MISS, and some time it takes more longer to prepare and clean the flat but to have it ready for 12 with one hour late is not a drama
All over the week I send you informations about the strike but it seems it was not suffisant, and I am so sorry, for your bad feeling
In any case I keep a good memory of your family and hope to see you again with less travel problem
The reviews say it all!
Light filled, spacious yet cozy flat in a centrally located neighborhood was perfect for our needs. We had been in Paris last year in a tiny studio and I wanted to find a place with more space. I read all the reviews for this flat before making my selection. Philippe greeted us at the flat on our arrival with keys and instructions on operating everything. He also gave us information on a bus from the airport to take in lieu of a taxi. There is plenty of room here to relax and spread out. The kitchen is well-stocked. The flat is half a block from the Metro/RER station, which we used every day.
The only drawback for us is that we are quite tall, particularly my husband, and navigating the stairs to the loft and the loft itself is a little harrowing. I only point this out because the pictures don’t show this. Overall, a marvelous place. Great WiFi! Fabulous host. Highly recommended.
Location, Location, Location!
Enough can't be said about the location of this property! It was very close to the M1 Metro Line which is a major line in the Paris subway system so it was quite easy to get out and about. The neighborhood was quiet, and we loved that there was an elevator (for at least the first 3 floors). The other stairs (two flights) leading to the apartment were not hard to negotiate. And you can peek your head out of one of the windows in the sleeping loft and see the top of the Eiffel Tower! The apartment was well appointed--plenty of everything we needed. We liked that the living area was on the ground floor and the sleeping loft was up above. The stairs are a bit tricky, but just pay attention going up and down and you'll be fine! Philippe was great to work with--he responded quickly to emails before our arrival--we didn't really need to contact him during our stay so that is always a plus! Our only negative about this place (and it's minor) was that the beds could be a little more cushy. But all-in-all, we loved staying here!
