Bourbourg furnished cottage - 2 bedrooms - 5 people - enclosed garden - private parking

Small single storey house of 70m2
Renovated and converted for rental in 2015

The cottage is planned for 5 adults maximum but we have an approval for 6 people with the town hall. You can add a baby or young child in a travel cot (which we can provide).

The cottage is composed as follows:

- Bedroom 1: 2 single beds + 1 shelf unit
- Bedroom 2: 1 double bed + 1 single bed 1 dressing room
- Bathroom with shower, sink, washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board
- separate WC
- Kitchen with dishwasher, oven, vitro, microwave, coffee maker, Nespresso machine + 4-person table with stool
- Dining room - table 6 people
- Living room: 2 large leather sofas - 120 cm LED TV - DVD player
- Garden with fenced terrace and lawn (lockable garden door) + Barbecue + garden furniture + 2 sun loungers
- Parking for 2 cars (or 4 cars in a row) on the property outside

Baby equipment on request: bath, travel cot, booster, changing table ...

Travelers live in the house next to that of the owners.

Ground floor accommodation (except two steps to access the room containing the 2 single beds

Animals accepted if clean, not damaging the furniture, not going up in the beds and sofas and not staying alone in the accommodation. (by prior agreement before booking)
It is a cottage for tourists, workers, people who come to see their families, you can receive guests but it is not a cottage for birthday parties, new year ...

Quite, bright, warm and well-equipped urban house in pretty little town.

We stayed for one week during a very cold January. This urban house is quiet, bright and warm with good facilities. It coped with the sub-zero temperatures very well (-5C on two nights). The house is well equipped and it all worked appropriately. Certainly comfortable and ample space. The renovation has been done well. Good off-road parking. Owners are helpful though English language is not their strength. Bourbourg is an interesting and attractive little town, especially the church with its Sir Anthony Caro sculptures and choir renovation. Local shops, bakers and butchers etc are easily within walking distance and Calais and Dunkirk are 20 minutes by car - easy access to the A 16. We were working in Calais for the week and would come back and rent again if we were to return to Calais.

Wir hatten im Vorfeld eine gute Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin. Der Check-in war mit Herrn Prospere problemlos und sehr freundlich. Als Gastgeschenk gab es eine Flasche Apfelsaft und Kekse, das Beides war sehr lecker. Das Haus ist gepflegt und sehr sauber. Der eingezäunte Garten perfekt mit kleinen Kindern und Hunden. Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen.

Très bon rapport qualité/prix Appartement bien situé dans BOURBOURG, commerces à proximité (centre-ville et centres commerciaux proches) Appartement très bien agencé (rien ne manque) lumineux , spacieux et très propre. Perfect stay

We had rented the house during New Year. Upfront we discussed the last details through friendly and clear communication with the owners. Very warmly welcomed and received a bottle of champage for New Year’s Eve as a present! The cottage is fully equipped, cozy and very clean. Surroundings are beautiful if you like history and / or beach walks. We greatly enjoyed the peace and pleasant stay. Recommended!

Excellent property for a stay in Northern France

Perfect quiet location to explore Northern France and Belgium, only 20 minutes from Calais. The family who own the property are friendly and helpful. We visited in late April on a mainly WWI battlefields tour but also visited Dunkerque and Boulogne-sur-Mer - don't miss the aquarium! Everything was provided in the accommodation which was clean, warm and comfortable. The only criticism is that Bourbourg is a little too quiet out of season with nowhere to get a meal/drink open most evenings but we had excellent meals in Dunkerque, Gravelines and Grand Fort Phillipe.

Sehr angenehmes Feriendomizil

Wir sind rund herum zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt bei Familie Prospere. Die Vermieter sind freundlich und aufgeschlossen. Gleich zur Ankunft gab es eine Flasche Champagner vom Hausherrn, ein schönes Signal des Willkommens. Die Wohnung ist ausgezeichnet ausgestattet und erfüllt alle Erwartungen. Am meisten gefallen hat uns die gleichbleibende Ruhe im Domizil und außen herum. Ideal zum Entspannen. Zu den schönen Sandstränden in der nördlichen Nähe sind es gerade mal 16 km, also gut erreichbar für Freunde des Strandlebens. Wir können die Wohnung, vor der es auch eine Liegewiese mit Liegen, Tisch, Stühlen und Grill gibt, nur wärmstens empfehlen.
