Quite, bright, warm and well-equipped urban house in pretty little town.
We stayed for one week during a very cold January. This urban house is quiet, bright and warm with good facilities. It coped with the sub-zero temperatures very well (-5C on two nights). The house is well equipped and it all worked appropriately. Certainly comfortable and ample space. The renovation has been done well. Good off-road parking. Owners are helpful though English language is not their strength.
Bourbourg is an interesting and attractive little town, especially the church with its Sir Anthony Caro sculptures and choir renovation. Local shops, bakers and butchers etc are easily within walking distance and Calais and Dunkirk are 20 minutes by car - easy access to the A 16.
We were working in Calais for the week and would come back and rent again if we were to return to Calais.
