About this property

Well-stocked and comfortable oceanfront condo with gorgeous open water views! Top floor unit, directly on the beach, 2 bed and 2.5 baths with vast ocean views from the living room, kitchen and master bedroom. Perfect sunset views from the balcony! Complex offers multiple private sandy beaches, fishing dock, pool, tennis court/pickleball court and basketball hoop, covered parking, BBQ grills and elevator! Condo has a fully stocked kitchen, WIFI, flat screen TVs with cable, full size washer/dryer and full sized dining room table. King bed in the master, 2 full size beds in the second bedroom. Max occupancy is 6. Easily walk to several restaurants and bars! Please, no rowdy groups - this is a small, calm community. No smoking in the unit or on balcony.

Easily launch your kayak from the beach. Fantastic snorkeling in front of the condo. Check out our wildlife - we’ve seen manatee, seahorses, starfish, stingray, moray eels, octopus, stone crab, dolphin and an array of fish including snook, red fish, snapper, grouper, tarpon, and other tropical reef fish. Dock covers all fishing licenses - just bring your gear!

You can find tennis racquets (no balls), pickleball rackets and balls, and a basketball in the hall closet. Beach towels are in the laundry room. There is a diaper rack in the master bedroom closet that you can put on the balcony to dry your swimsuits and beach towels.

Located just off Marathon, on Key Colony Beach. One hour from Key West. Close to multiple dive, snorkeling and fishing charters. Community offers miles of biking and walking paths, 9 hole golf course, parks, bocce ball, and boat ramps with rental slips.

Ask for fishing, snorkel, kayak gear rental recommendations, as well as dining suggestions. We've been here for decades!

Mid-stay Cleaning - If you book for three or more weeks, you can request cleaning service at $125 which will be billed to you directly from KCPVR. (Posted 12/28/22)

Cancellation Policy - Our cancellation policy is 90 days, which is not an option on VRBO. If you cancel at 91 days or further out, we will refund you 90%. If you cancel within 90 days, we will refund you 80% if the property gets rebooked. Thank you for understanding. (Posted 12/28/22)

The pictures did not give this place justice. Definitely more spacious than what it looked liked from the photos. Beautiful view from the balcony. Pool & pier was cleaned daily. We enjoyed fishing off the pier at any time of day. Definitely would come back & recommend for anyone. The only downside was the very small beach and too much seaweed.

Beautiful view, nice neighborhood

Unbelievable views, impeccably maintained pool. We had a nice stay here and used it as home base for adventures in the Everglades and lower keys. Some interesting snorkeling right on the property. Decor was a little dated but clean, functional and well stocked.

My parents have been coming to Key Colony Beach since they were married. When my children were born, they bought the unit to have a place to spend time with their kids and grandchildren. Five generations have now visited the condo. We love to fish, snorkel, dive, shell, kayak, swim and enjoy the local restaurants/bars. The sunsets from the condo are gorgeous year-round. If you are looking for a place to escape, this is it. The seafood is great! Fresh fish and lobster. Stone crabs and oysters when they are in season (starting in October).

Why they chose this property

Key Colony Point is family friendly (but not overrun with kids.) The property includes gas BBQ grills, tennis, fishing dock, pool, hot tub, gorgeous landscaping and multiple private beaches. Key Colony Beach is located in the middle of the Florida Keys, off of Marathon. The local park includes bocce ball, a children's playground and a par 3 golf course. There are several restaurants/bars on the island, as well as a marina for deep sea fishing. The island feels secluded, but you have all of the amenities that the large island of Marathon offers.

What makes this property unique

Unit #33 has a fully stocked kitchen - great for entertaining! (For years, my parents hosted Thanksgiving for 12 - 20 people.) Internet is provided, along with 3 flat screen TVs. Plenty of books to read and binoculars to scope the ocean. Private fishing dock includes fishing license. Plenty of beach space to spread out from others. Don't hesitate to ask questions about what is included!
