Wonderfully equipped home in a convenient location!
We stayed for a week in February. The home is really cute and comfortable. The bath towels are luxurious! I loved the convenience of the washer/dryer. We will definitely be back!
The pictures on Vrbo (of the house) were completely false! The house may of been in that condition from the beginning but most certainly not like that now. The house absolutely does NOT sleep 6 it sleeps 3 MAX! There were cigarette Burns in everything. While we were away from the house working, the property manager entered the house without any notice or even saying anything to me at all for that matter. To top it off the last night of our 5 day stay the power went out I contacted the “property manager” and heard nothing back. It was a complete waist and I was so upset that Vrbo would let someone get by with this. I was not compensated in any type of way. Very disheartening! Not to mention the property manager told me what risk he would face with a bad review and threatened to write a review on me as a renter! Who does that?

Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Maintenance needed.
The property is not represented well. The pictures are old.
Where to start??
Maybe the 5 missing light bulbs?
Maybe the 2 electrical outlets that are exposed?
The walls covered with spots of food, drinks and the entire house smelled like and old wet dog.. Not enough? The deck has nails and screws pushing up that trip and rip.
How about the couch that is so dirty it smells. Or the chair without legs?
The kitchen has one chair…
Maybe it’s the lack of coffee cups..perhaps it’s the black mold in the bathroom that took an entire jug of bleach and 4 hours to just do a top clean. How about spending 2 days washing walls, washing floors or wiping down all the cobwebs in EVERY corner and nook?
How about cleaning the cabinet doors with cleaner because they are yellow with grease and STICKY…GROSS!!!
The list…it is endless. My wife called the property manager and left a message to call me..they never did. The manager simply wrote “The Team must have missed that but we appreciate itTeam?? What team?? Nobody has inspected that house in years…
Missing smoke detector! CO2 sensor in on the top of the stairwell??? Call the fire marshal if you don’t know where things go!!
No fire ladder from the second floor.
No vent for the stove.
No fans..had to buy our own.
Bought a couch cover for the couch…it’s that nasty…
We didn’t call asking for help. We just did what we needed to make our short stay more pleasant.
We came to Michigan (2 of us from AZ, 1 from GA) to work on our deceased relatives estate. Even though the drive time was 40 minutes each way to and from the location at which we were working, staying at this home was well worth the commute! The host thought of most everything anyone would need for a short or longer stay, and anything we realized we needed after getting settled in was promptly provided upon request! Dean is an awesome host!
Overall the property was good. Wish I had known the bed were so low to the ground. I am just recovering from knee replacement and it was a challenge getting in and out of bed. Also we felt bad that the check out list wasn't received until we already on the road. We liked the area, truly half way between campus and old town.
It great experience. Not one problem during the 4wks. Is this house was very clean, organized, Spacious, bathroom drawers had thoughtful enough in case your forget something. Also very close to sparrow hospital.
We enjoyed our safe and the cleanliness and hospitality of this property. The home is well stocked with nice towel and bedding. Our family of 5 stayed comfortably.

Easy to work with!
The home owner was flexible to our needs and easy to work with. The home was quaint; and Central to anything we needed.
