About this property

This building known as the Sacandaga Lodge has three two bedroom suites with separate entrances. One on the first floor has a queen, two singles. One on the balcony has two queens and another on the balcony has a queen, two singles and a double in the loft. They all have private kitchens and one bathroom. They also have a futon couch that can open into a double. Cable TV, WiFi, AC, heat, decks, BBQ, campfire is included as well.

Wonderful R&R

A lovely property on the banks of the Hudson river with a private beach for kayaking, jet skiing and pontoon boat rides. Wonderful host and easily available for any questions or need

Many different watercraft included in the stay. Separate swimming area, volleyball, basketball hoop, ping pong, kid park, fire pits. Excellent location to grab anything you miss- just walk next door or across street. Fully stocked kitchen- just bring food. And pet-friendly. Very nice people, helpful. Just be careful about beds- if you have a bad back, etc. make sure to find out about the bed situation. Husband and I slept on a bed for two- I believe it was a futon- and I had to put two pillows under the side of the mattress so I wouldn't fall off. I'm easygoing and have no back problems, but this would not be good for someone who does. This was in just one lodge, one of the beds, so it does not represent what all of the other lodges/cabins are like! Still would go again.

Heavenly stay

Getting away from the city always rejuvenates my spirit. I love seeing the mountains and lake when I wake up. We had the best view in the place. Can't wait to go back.

Planning to go again.

Overall, I was very pleased with the Elms. Definitely will visit there again. The only downfall was the bathroom. It needs attention. The floor was damaged from sweating pipes. Other than that beds were very comfortable and everything was above expectation.

I teach at the college in the areas of hospitality, entrepreneurship and business psychology. I enjoy creating oil paintings in the winter as the summer time is consumed by the Elms.

This is a unique property located in a town that "time skipped." A vacation getaway to The Elms Lodges will be a through back yet you will be comfortable in your knotty pine interiors and many conveniences on the property and locally. We have a lot to do, many boating items such as jet skis, pontoon boat, kayaks, aqua cycle, and SUP Boards.

What makes this property unique

Mountain sunsets in the evening cap-off the day. A late afternoon sun keep you warm into the evening. Tiosaronda Bay was named by the Iroquois Indians and means the merging of two rivers into one. You will not find a nicer place to sit back and sip your favorite beverage as the grill is fired up and laughter is abound.
