OUR HIGHEST RATING for Hosts, location, value, communication and unique ambience! Where you stay--on the first floor of the home mas or horse farm owned and run by Henri and Nadine Martin, is elegant, impeccable and causal--all at the same time. Their wonderful old dogs and farm cats, their Camargue horse are all beloved family members. The beautiful local stone maison is lovingly tended--as were we, as their guests. Henri and Nadine provided lovely petite dejeuner of fresh and truly handmade croisant, heavenly espresso, breadloaves, homemade jams, and fresh fruit with yogurt--all in the beautiful and authentic family dining room. Henri, a horseman trainer & horse whisperer from a long Camargue lineage, spent many generous moments with us explaining all things about the Camargueoise culture and history--booked us a table at a secret and very local restaurante, and offered books, family photos and his own experiences to draw us into the life of the local people. We recommend this with our greatest gratitude for a visit of deep peace, true French generosity of spirit, and a place of sweet perfection. We will return!
If you’re looking for a magical experience in the country side of France this is the place. Nadine and Henri were amazing !! The place is gorgeous and the breakfast was just perfect ! I hope we can one day go back.
