We are thrilled to welcome you to "My Second Wind" - our home away from home and a true resort vacation destination!

We think we are the PERFECT place for a quiet weekend get away, a group tennis/golf weekend or a family friendly beach vacation!

Our gorgeous 4 bedroom waterfront cottage is located in “Fairmont Heritage Inspiration by the Bay” within the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. A boutique neighborhood nestled in the magnolia and pine trees between the Choctawhatchee Bay and the Burnt Pine Golf Course, Inspiration by the Bay, offers our guests the privacy and amenities of a luxury hotel, plus access to all of the fun and excitement that the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort has to offer! We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! Jill was an excellent host. She responded quickly to any questions that we had. The kitchen was well equipped with all we needed and dinners in the screened in porch with a view of the sunset made for great memories. We also so appreciated the chairs, umbrellas and all the extras for the beach. We hope to return again soon!

Working with Jill was the most pleasant experience I have had renting a vacation property. Prior, during, and even after, she is very responsive and easy to work with. Her property is beautiful, very updated, tastefully decorated, and equipped with the best cooking appliances. The Staff at the Clubhouse/pool are there to provide any assistance you may need while utilizing the facilities and always cheerful. Having the use of a golf cart is not only practical to get to the beach, local shopping and events, but fun as well! It is obvious why Jill is so highly rated on VRBO. Wonderful experience overall!

Absolutely gorgeous property- the entire family loved using the pool, clubhouse, and fitness room, etc. The location provided easy access to everything we wanted to do! The house was absolutely beautiful and was perfect for my 3 grandchildren and their family. Kitchen was well stocked with needed items and plenty of towels and beach toys and chairs. We had a great time with the gulf carts and did have to rent one since the house only had 1 cart. The host was wonderful to work with since the freezer didn’t work and she had another refrigerator delivered the next day. She couldn’t have been more hospitable. Also loved the club house with daily coffee and snacks We would definitely rent there again

The house exceeded expectations and was perfect for our annual family trip which included 6 adults and two small children. Rooms were very spacious with great beds and bathrooms were large. There are two king suites which both fit a crib easily. Kitchen had everything we needed and we were able to grill out on the screened in porch without any issues of mosquitoes. The neighborhood is nice and quite which was perfect to truly relax and the house has a perfect bay view off the back porches. The golf cart included made getting to the beach a breeze and it was so fun to just ride around the Sandestin property. The pool across the street was great and very well maintained. Jill was so responsive and easy to communicate with, which made our stay stress free. We would 100% recommend this property and will definitely be back!

The house is so beautiful and exactly what was listed. We didn’t need for anything. I think the only problem we had is the clubhouse accused us of having to many people at the pool while they didn’t ask if they were staying in the same area. The young lady was asking us to leave at 9:30 pm when the pool closed at 10 pm. She was not nice but that didn’t have anything to do with owner. 100 % recommended this place. Thank you Jill for helping us throughout our stay before and after.

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Sandestin Resort! The host was very responsive, easy to work with, and quickly resolved any small questions or issues that came up.The house was by far the best-stocked rental we’ve ever stayed in. We brought several items we didn’t even need because so much was already provided. The home was comfortable, beautifully decorated, had amazing A/C, great water pressure for showers, and very comfortable beds.The neighborhood felt intimate and cozy, and the location was perfect. Everything the resort had to offer was easy to access by golf cart or car. The clubhouse was awesome, with activities throughout the week, and the pool was excellent.Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and we would absolutely recommend it! We definitely will return!

Beautiful, well equipped, perfect location, responsive host, clean. We vacationed with 2 families with 4 teens. The house was perfect for us and we would definitely stay again. Nobody wanted to leave. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Trip to San destin was amazing. This house is over the top fancy and we enjoyed the house as much as the beach!

Great Home

We have stayed in Sandestin many times and this house is our favorite. Jill was available if we needed anything. The house was an excellent place for our fall family getaway.
