Lae Nani #413 has wonderful landscaped grounds and a beautiful beach that makes Outrigger Hotels Luxury Collection Lae Nani Oceanfront Resort Condos one of Kauai's finest. Ultra high ceilings and ground floor location enhance the comfort and convenience of our spacious private condo. Ocean views and a large pool add to your enjoyment. Walk out the door to a nearly private cove and sandy beach. Our condo is tastefully renovated with a new kitchen and appliances that will enhance your stay in comfortable luxury.

An ancient Hawaiian temple graces the point at the tip of Wailua Bay in the capital of the Kingdom of Kauai. Many interesting sites are located nearby as well as shopping and restaurants. This well maintained, non-smoking unit (the entire Lae Nani resort is non-smoking; the beach is public) has been owned by our family since it was built.

Join our Ohana of repeat visitors who have enjoyed this conveniently located luxury condo time and again. The eastside of Kauai is halfway to Poipu Beach on the southside and scenic Princeville and Hanalei Bay on the northshore and has the most diverse choices for restaurants and other attractions on the island.

We got married in the Heiau (Hawaiian Temple) and have many fond memories to which we add each time we stay in our island home. We hope you create many of your own memories and enjoy a stay at the Harris Ohana Condo at the Lae Nani Resort.

Beautiful beach condo

We really enjoyed our stay at Le Nani. The unit was very comfortable, and the entire area was beautifully landscaped. The beach/cove area was one of the nicest in the area! A short walk down the beach led to a great restaurant and a perfect spot to see the sunrise each morning. It was very centrally located, so drives to both the North coast and South coast were not too time consuming. We would definitely stay here again on a return trip!

The ground floor condo felt very safe and it was such a bonus to be able to walk out to the beach. At the quiet end of a stretch of condos and the start of a very long boardwalk, trail. As a daily runner, this was the best place for running of the five places we stayed on three Islands in Hawaii.

Lae Nani Wonderful Stay

This is our second time staying at Lae Nani and in the same unit. The location is absolutely wonderful! It is lovely to be able to walk right out to the exceptionally well-kept grounds, the large pool and the quiet beautiful beach. The condo owners have updated the unit to make it even more comfortable. Having the ocean breeze flow through the windows kept the rooms cool and was a constant reminder that we were staying in a tropical paradise! We would definitely stay here again!

AWESOME CONDO! GREAT TIME

Just got back from a 4 island tour of Hawaii. The best time was on Kauai, and our stay at our Lae Nani condo was perfect. The condo was perfect and the view of Wailua Bay and having the boulder enclosed pool constantly beckoned my kids to go back and forth. They spent tons of time in the clean, well kept pool also. The unit provided everything we could ask for and the staff was very friendly. The hardest part was to get the kids out and about because they had such a blast at the condo and the beautiful grounds.

We loved our stay here! The condo was clean, spacious and charming. Located in a gated community, the grounds were very well kept and the beach was beautiful. Location was perfect, close to airport, food, shopping and a good central point to drive around the island with a rental car. Unfortunately we had rain the whole stay there but it gave us an opportunity to go to tourist attractions then relax in the living room with a redbox movie we got from a shopping center 4 minutes away in the evenings. No A/C but a lot of fans in the condo. Thank you for having us! We enjoyed it and would definitely recommend to anyone!

Great location, BUT….

Our favorite condo complex, so great location but this particular unit is managed through Outrigger and check-in was not at the complex. Had to drive to nearby resort lobby to check in - and then wait because condo wasn’t ready yet. When we got in we discovered that the “double futon” advertised as the additional sleeping option was in fact two blow-up twin mattresses. The sofa bed is not functional and there is no futon. Also, several windows cannot be closed and the shower curtain is moldy. The kitchen is well-stocked with cutlery, dishes, etc but if you want to cook you need to buy absolutely everything-there isn’t anything like salt, pepper or oil. Pantry is completely empty, which is different from other units we’ve rented in this complex. On the plus side, there are two nice beach chairs, a cooler, and blue ice blocks available for use.

Stunning Views

This property and unit is amazing. Has all amenities you could need and close to anything you might want. Condo is newly renovated and loved the convenience of being on the ground floor. Only complaints: 1) we could not leave patio doors open to hear the waves all night long and 2) Fairly noisy by the road at times. Host and propert manager were great to deal with. We were able to have a late checkout as our flight was late and that was like having an extra day. We loved our time at Lae Nani and hope to book again.

We enjoyed our stay here. The beach is nice and the pool is very clean and well kept. The grounds of the condo complex are beautifully landscaped. The condo is well maintained and fully furnished. It’s an extremely short walk to a small shopping/ restaurant area. The only negatives we experienced are that you can hear through the shared bedroom wall and the master bathroom plumbing is loud. We had a great time! Gorgeous views with the lawns and the beach right outside. Nice and clean condo with all the usual amenities (just note the washer-dryer is next door, coin laundry). Being on the ground floor, it was so easy to just walk out and the beach is right there. And driving up north or down south is quite convenient as well, given the central location of this property. They have construction (repainting, removal of old wood etc.) going on in this property from August 2017 till November 2018. We were not aware of this. During our stay, the building to our left was having work done every weekday, and the noise got a bit too much on many occasions, breaking the tranquil scene unfortunately. The owner tried to help find a different place for us, but of course nothing practical was available at such last minute. We stayed on and he later did a partial refund for our troubles, which was nice. Overall, this is a lovely condo and we'd love to come back (especially once the construction is over).

Tropical dream anniversary celebration!

The pictures do not do it justice. We had the perfect relaxing vacation with everything we needed. It was so lovely to watch the ocean waves from the patio and the beach was right there with very few people. The condo is very comfortable with beautiful flooring and new cabinets. The location in Kapaa is ideal as a starting point to venture either down south to Poipu/ Polihale/ Waimea, or up north to Princeville/Hanalei/Napali Coast. There is a safe, laundry facilities on site, barbecues available for use and a beautiful pool. We would definitely come back!

This is a great resort to vacation at and unit 413 is the place to do it in

Just finished a 16 day stay at the jewel of the coconut coast this unit is clean and mostly all updated with a kitchen that is well stocked with appliances and utensils I know because we cooked most of our meals, there are towels galore for both bath and beach and although this is just a one bedroom the high ceilings make it seem very spacious,The resort is gated which made us feel secure and at ease, the pool area is located right down by the water and the main BBQ area right beside it note there is a stand alone BBQ at the west end of the building 4 if you don’t feel like walking down to the pool . The view from the lani was fantastic and it’s relaxing to sit out there with a coffee or a cocktail even if it’s a bit cloudy . The owner was easy to contact both prior to and during our stay and handled all of our concerns quickly. The town is close by with lots of shops and places to eat and very central you can get anywhere from here in a very short time but pick your spots rush hour here is like rush hour anywhere, overall I would have to say that this is the place we will stay at the next time we vacation on kauai . This was a great unit. Disregard any previous reviews about the location not being clean or updated. While there is one spot in the bathroom where the wallpaper is discolored it is behind the toilet in the guest bathroom and has zero impact. Great locations and in walking distance to great bars, easy access to a convenience store, close to many activities, and great beach access.

Beautiful Location!

I stayed at this condo in November 2014 and had a wonderful time there. The owner is great and he even let me know about a massage therapist that he knew which I scheduled an appointment with. I was celebrating my birthday in Kauai and having the massage at the condo was amazing present to myself. She was great! The location of the Outrigger Lae Nani is perfect since it’s half way between the North Shore and Poipu. There are grocery stores and restaurants close by. I wanted a condo so I could cook some of my meals there and I made breakfast every morning and sat on the Lanai eating my breakfast looking at the beautiful ocean. In the evenings I also really enjoyed sitting on the Lanai and listening to the ocean and smelling the wonderful flowering tree next to the condo. It was so relaxing, and really glad I chose this condo to stay at. The beach at the condo is great and really don’t have to go to any other beaches since you are right there. I also got up at sunrise every morning to enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the ocean. It was my first time to Kauai, even though I have been to Maui twice. I really loved Kauai and definitely will be going back. It was also my first time using VRBO and I had no problems with the condo and the owner was great. Looking forward to when I can go back!

Great central location

We really liked the property. Great central access for the island. The property is very nice. This unit has super close parking and a beach view. Just a walk across the lawn to the pool and beach. First floor access is nice because you just walk out the lanai. Unit is a great size for two, could even have two more on the sofa. Full size kitchen is nice. Unit does need updating, but it was clean and worked for us.

Owner very good to work with, good unit location, but very worn condition

I put off writing this review because the owner was very good to work with, and the unit location is very good, but the unit is very worn and needs a serious upgrade. The refrigerator door is rusted, and the ice maker doesn't work. The upholstery is pilled. The carpet is stained and matted. Etc. The unit is listed with Outrigger, and they don't seem to maintain the standards they should. I'm sorry to have to say this because, I repeat, the owner was very good to work with, and the unit location is very good.

As a photographer I have lived in NY and LA and travelled all over and no place is finer than Kauai. Although I moved to Marin County from Kauai 7 years ago, I loved that tropical country living. My #2 son was born there! I visit my island home often.

Lae nani is a special place and has been in my family since it was built. We have countless memories of special times spent there and I got married in the heiau along the beach and the lived in Princeville for 7 years. There are many fine memories of great surfing days. My sons enjoy their time there and feel at home- 3 generations now!
