2 Bedroomed Seafront Penthouse, fully Air Conditioned, with a breathtaking View

A unique 2 Bedroomed seafront penthouse, fully air conditioned, with a breathtaking 30sqm terrace overlooking the Grand Harbour and Fort St. Angelo from where you can enjoy some of the most beautiful views anywhere in Malta. Opposite is the historic town of Vittoriosa (Birgu), where the Great Siege took place in 1565. Next to it lies the cosmopolitan Cottonera Waterfront with restaurants, cafés and promenades leading to the Camper and Nicholson Yacht Marina.
The modern kitchen has all the appliances you would expect, including a dishwasher. The open plan living room leads directly onto the terrace and there is free broadband internet WiFi throughout the apartment.
Towards the rear one can find two double bedrooms and a terrace overlooking a quiet pedestrian street of character, typical of the area. There is also a separate bathroom. The apartment is on Siren Street which is a pedestrian alleyway, just off St. Philip’s Church; the apartment is on the third floor served by a small lift (which takes you to the second floor and then it’s a further flight of stairs up on foot). Please note guests will need to carry their own luggage and this is not a service we offer.
The apartment is perfectly situated for all the cultural sights in the area. Valletta is a short trip away on the regular ferry across the harbour. Hiring a car is recommended, especially if you would like to visit the sister islands of Gozo and Comino, go swimming or explore off the beaten track.
There are restaurants and cafés along the Senglea promenade and the Vittoriosa waterfront is only a short walk around Dockyard Creek, or a quick hop across the water on a traditional water dghajsa (“dysa”). There you will find a variety of restaurants, wine bars and cafés.

The Marsa Sports Club, offering tennis and golf facilities, lies just a couple of km away.

Please note check in is not before 4pm till latest 10pm (we will try to accommodate earlier check-in times wherever possible), so no night arrivals are possible.

This is a beautiful, chic, well-equipped property. The views from the balcony are spectacular. The apartment had everything we needed. All the appliances were in excellent condition and easy to understand and use. The kitchen was fully fitted with cooking utensils and cookware. We were especially pleased that our host, Daniel’s, parents met us and helped us check into the apartment. They shared some lovely wine and snacks with us and fully briefed us on the apartment. Daniel was very responsive and helpful, both before and during our stay. For others considering this apartment, it is a short Bolt ride to Valletta. There is also a ferry that is a 15 minute walk away. Daniel has provided a “user’s manual” for the apartment, which discusses shopping and restaurants. While there are many, many stairs in the neighborhood and in the apartment, the views and confort of the apartment were, in our minds worth the climbs.

This was our second stay at this fantastic property. It feels more like a very nice, lived in penthouse home rather than a sterile rental. Well equipped with fantastic views overlooking the Grand Harbour, Fort St Angelo, marina area and Valletta across the harbour.As before, Daniel was available and quick to respond to any questions. This second time we were greeted by his wonderful parents who made us very welcome with some drinks and treats left for us. They were available if needed.The scenic photos on VRBO really do not do the views and location justice. You are on top of everything, not overlooked with a very large terrace where you can relax and watch the world go by before or after your day out.You are within easy walking distance of restaurants and bars in Senglea and Birgu. The ferry to Valletta is a 15 minute walk.We were a party of four healthy people in our 60's and had no issues with the stairs. There is a small tube elevator lift, which we've never personally used. Just one consideration for anyone with mobility issues.Highly recommended to anyone who likes some privacy and outside space but wants to see and be in the centre of things.

Absolutely gorgeous view! We loved the location of this flat as it was in a quiet part of Senglea with easy access to restaurants, the ferry, and Bolt/Uber pickup. The host responded very quickly to all questions gave helpful suggestions for the area. Be aware than there are lots of stairs so I wouldn’t bring a large suitcase when you visit. Check out the good food and cool vibe at Date Art Cafe just down along the water.

The location of the apartment was superb and Daniel’s Dad Joseph made our check in very easy. He was so accommodating. Thank you Joseph. There were many nice touches including sun screen and after sun in the bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped and the art work interesting. Some areas were a little tired, for example the furniture on the terrace. Overall, a very good place to stay.

Beautiful views in peaceful surroundings!

My wife and I had a wonderful time at this penthouse. We stayed for 5 days and enjoyed the views, comforts, and amenities the apartment provided to help make our stay comfortable and relaxing. The neighborhood is quiet, and Bolt/Uber are easy for pickup/dropoff. There are quite a few stairs, but we are in our mid-50s and fit, so not a big deal and worth the effort.

Fabulous views from the terrace, you could watch the comings and goings of the harbour all day. We were lucky enough to be there for the International Fireworks Display which was spectacular. The apartment is in the old city of Senglea with lots of steps to keep you fit! We loved our time here and would recommend staying

Absolutely outstanding apartment. This is not a sterile apartment, you walk in and it feels like a home, which we loved. Yes, there are a lot of stairs which is clearly indicated when booking, but the views make the stairs worthwhile. It’s hard to drag yourself away from the balcony, day and night there is so much to watch. Nearby shops are a little limited, however we found Catherine’s Bakery which is at the front of Senglea/Isla and it sells everything you need and it’s all priced. Loads of restaurants to cater for all tastes. Daniel is very helpful and very responsive to messages. We highly recommend and would certainly book again.

Spectacular Spot

This apartment more than satisfied our requirements. The view of the harbour was fantastic and it was easy to get to Valletta by the ferry. We will return but I will have to get fitter

Amazing view from charming flat

We loved staying in this flat. The views from inside and from the balcony made this such an exciting vacation spot as you can watch all the harbour activity, have great views of the cannon firings and fireworks, and enjoy the picturesque views of Valletta. The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the artwork on the walls. Everything was perfect and as described.

Exceptional stay in Senglea

Senglea offers a welcome relaxed vibe with its waterfront restaurants a mere five minute stroll from the apartment. It was nice to mix visits to bustling and vibrant Valletta (a 10 minute ferry journey from Senglea) with the more relaxed location of the apartment. The view from the terrace was spectacular.

An astonishing apartment with beautiful views over that harbour. A well set out apartment in a lovely district. Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance and the ferry across to Valletta every 30 minutes. Really enjoyed the stay and would recommend this apartment to anyone.

Great place, location and view!

We very much enjoyed staying in Daniel’s apartment, the location was perfect and the view is amazing, we all enjoyed staying in Senglea and visiting Valletta, Gozo and Comino. Daniel was a wonderful host, he was extremely helpful and very attentive; he really wants you to be happy and to have a lovely holiday - which we did! Malta is a lovely island, and we would definitely like to come back and visit here again!
