Clean Room, amenities were above average. Consumables and thoughtful additions, like coffee and creamers. TV streaming services were also good. Would definitely stay there again. Location was great for foliage and exploring the area.
We really loved our stay! The room was really nice and very comfortable! The bathroom was gorgeous! We were able to sit out in the deck drinking hot apple cider listening to Noah Kahan perform his concert! It was a really nice surprise! We knew nothing about the concert ahead of time but really enjoyed listening! The resort is really beautiful and the view from our deck was incredible! The restaurants were amazing too! We had an amazing meal! We had a very relaxing and wonderful time!
The best weekend property! Everything about this property was perfect. Went for a ski weekend and it was the perfect location. Close to town and had all the amenities needed to enjoy a short weekend trip Absolutely would return.
Always wanted to stay at this property. We enjoyed the pro gym, hot tubs, skating and restaurants. Had great skiing. Ski valet and shop made everything easy.
Really enjoyed staying here for our trip to Stowe. Unfortunately we came during the off season so there wasn’t much on the property to do, like the ice skating or gondola rides. But it was still a great trip! Would definitely love to come back during peak season in the winter!
My husband and I stayed at the Spruce Peak Lodge for a romantic winter honeymoon and it did not disappoint!! We had the most amazing time… the room was perfect and clean with a beautiful view of the village and mountains! Would definitely love to come back for an anniversary trip! :))
We had a great two night stay at the lodge. Beautiful property, very well maintained. It should really be mentioned regarding off season (Memorial Day weekend) that not much is open at the lodge. Or the hours are very short. There weren’t many options for food or drinks. And no activities available.
The studio room was clean, well stocked and in a great location. The room is smaller than the photos online lead you to believe, but still is big enough for two adults & a child. When I booked this room it was under Stowe Mountain Resorts but then became Spruce Peak Lodge. Not all of the resort restaurants were open or as advertised when it was Mountain Resorts. The door to the balcony is in need of repair as we were not able to lock it. The tv screen is very dark even after going into the settings and brightening it. Overall we had a great stay.
Cozy ski in, ski out at Spruce Peak Lodge. We are a family of 4 and although it was cozy, we made it work. Our original booking had a maintenance issue and as we were traveling, we received a phone call explaining the issue and the resolution. So refreshing not to have to deal with a problem on site - it was taken care for us ahead of time. Ski valet was excellent, staff throughout the entire resort was always courteous, friendly and helpful. The pull out couch fit both our kids in their sleeping bags without issue. Water pressure and temp were excellent. The only thing we did not expect was a common entry door from the hallway that lead to a small vestibule with doors to adjacent studios. Was not an issue, but have never seen this type of layout before. Would have been helpful to know, especially if traveling with a group you’d like to be across from. We enjoyed our time and can’t wait to visit again!
My first VRBO experience and will say it was pretty flawless. Room was very clean, all descriptions of the room and views were accurate. Extremely well stocked with anything we might have needed. Didn’t use the stovetop but a nice feature as we’re not used to having that in studio properties at other locations. Thought the patio door wasn’t locking properly but think it may have been my error. Still, the team responded to my text right away and seemed fixed by the time we retired to the room that evening. The only negative (not owner controlled) is parking up front when checking in. You’ll need to leave the car up front with valet in case they need to move you. Not really positive or negative just good to know to pull right up and let them know your checking in but plan to use the self park option. Self park is a small walk, but not a problem for us.
Great room, stay, etc. I’ll look at this room first in the future.
Stayed late Aug for last minute trip prior to school starting for my son. Great hiking, biking, walking trip.
