About this property

Dollywood Delight: Your Smoky Mountain Home Base!

This tranquil garden-level getaway with private access will provide the relaxing spot you'll need after a day of fun at Dollywood, or hiking in the Smoky Mountains. You'll find a large screen TV with cable channels, Netflix and Prime Video. There is also a Blu Ray Player and a small selection of movies.

The kitchenette is outfitted with a small refrigerator/freezer, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, ice maker and other appliances and kitchenware to make your stay easy and convenient. We provide coffee, tea and an honor basket with snacks and soda. There are games, puzzles, toys and books for your downtime. We provide a high chair and a Pack and Play that doubles as a changing table for your little one

In addition to the queen size bed in the main bedroom, the sofa in the family room doubles as a queen size hide-a-bed. There is a twin size rollaway bed for your use as well. Please see our amenity list for items not mentioned here, or feel free to message us with any questions.

You ll have a personal parking place, a private entrance equipped with a keyless entry lock and personal entry code emailed to you before arrival. You'll walk down a slight hill to reach your private entrance. Your patio porch swing allows you to sit back and enjoy the 1 1/2 acres of manicured lawn that sweeps down a gentle hill. We provide some outdoor activities, such as Corn Hole and that you can use in season.

We do live in the top floor of the home, so you may hear footsteps. Our dog, Belle, likes to bark greetings to visitors. She's a Goldendoodle and a sweetheart. We abide by the same quiet time rules we ask of our guests, which is lower-level volume after 11:00 p.m.

Location location location...

Love the location and convenience. Close to everything and plenty of choices in restaurants and shopping. There is really no need for a vehicle as everything was within walking range. Would definitely stay again. Very nice owners.

Great property, friendly owners

Property was as described and was clean. Check in process was a breeze. You'll stay in the basement area but it's fully furnished with a private full bath and enterance. Owners live upstairs but we rarely noticed that. They were really nice and made us feel welcomed. We were running around from one place to another and were sometimes late to things so we didn't get to interact with them much unfortunately. Would definitely stay here again if they still had their house listed and they accepted the booking. You won't regret it either.

We are retired couple and relocated to Tennessee from the Pacific Northwest in 2018. Our new home included a cozy lower-level apartment that is now our short term rental. We love hosting and have met many wonderful people from all over the world. We strive to make you comfortable and to provide more amenties than you'll need. Jim spent much of his work life traveling the world, and in doing so, determined all the things that made his time away from home more comfortable. It's those experiences that have made it into our cozy Suite. Come see and we think you'll agree.

What makes this property unique

In addition to the great location, the ambience of the location is worth noting. Though near the main thoroughfare to Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Smoky Mountain National Park, our location is very peaceful, on a hill in the middle of 1 1/2 well manicured acres. There is a sitting area just outside the private entrance which has a glider swing and looks out over what we call our 'Iconic Tree'. When you see it we think you will agree with the description!
