Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina lies a family estate that spans 28 acres of natural rolling hills, mountains and forest. Private retreat, located between Hendersonville and Asheville, surrounded by unique farms, apple orchards, wineries & breweries. The grounds offer 2 lakes, several babbling creeks, hiking trails, open spaces, and most importantly peace and quiet. You'll be amazed by the nightly show of fireflies & star filled skies. 20% discount for monthly and 10% discount for weekly rentals!!

It's not just the cozy house itself you'll get to enjoy, but the surrounding ponds, trails & streams are there for you to make use of as well! Jump in the "swimming hole" at the waterfall to cool off; take a hike along the main trails enjoying the many birds, wildlife & vegetation; hop in the canoe at the pond and gaze down at the bass, turtles, and occasional otter!

You'll have the entire house & decks for your use (including grill) You may swim & fish the ponds (catch & release please; fishing gear provided); use the canoe; hike trails around the ponds. Please note the motorbikes on the lower deck are NOT for guest use. The caretakers' living space at the top of the hill above the rental house will be off limits to guests.

A perfect vacation

The property is beautiful as is the home. We had an amazing time visiting the surrounding areas - cities, towns and hiking as well as exploring the property. The home is immaculate and exceptionally well appointed. We would highly recommend this VRBO.

Great location.

We had a blast the week we were there. I was with my dad, my husband and our 5 year old daughter. It was just roomy enough for the 4 of us! The cabin was cute but I did go stir crazy in there after an hour or so. The TV only really works if you have your own apple TV account or cast shows and movies off of your phone/laptop. We explored Ashville and the surrounding towns while we were there. The cabin and the view were perfect for what we were wanting! The birds were so talkative and the fireflies lite up the night . Totally recommend!

Mountains near Hendersonville

We had a very nice stay at Luna Ranch. Property was beautiful. We enjoyed hiking, canoeing and exploring the creek on property. Home had everything we needed and furniture and beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had what we needed to cook a few meals. Enjoyed sitting on back deck with coffee each morning.

We have had this property in our family close to three decades. My family has been visiting Hendersonville since the 1950s. The mountain air and picturesque backdrops have kept us coming back year after year. This property holds lasting family memories where we have shared birthdays, holidays, and much needed R&R. We hope our guests can find the beauty in this place and make their own memories.

This property is so versatile. You can go hiking, fishing, have a picnic by the creek, go for long walks in and out of the forest trails, make a campfire and smore's, have a BBQ overlooking the lake, play games by the fire and make some home cooked meals and pies. These are just a few of the things we like to do here.
