This is a well located and wonderful B&B with easy walking access to all of the great districts of Venice. It is easily reachable by vaporetto from the Santa Lucia train station and has wonderful nearby restaurants. Most importantly, it is operated by an engaging host who was gracious in spending time orienting us to various sites to see and in recommending great restaurants in various parts of Venice and on Mazzorbo island. He invited us and two other couples on an extra paid tour by boat of the many islands in the lagoon which was an extraordinary opportunity to explore sights that we would have never seen. The accommodations were first class and enjoyable. I give this B&B the highest of recommendations.

I had a great time and felt very comfortable and safe here. Communication with host was great. If you take the vaporetto here pay attention to host directions and get off at rialto mercado and not the rialto one. They are right next to each other. If not you could be lugging luggage over the rialto bridge. If you get a paper vaporetto ticket please know that you must validate at the vaporetto stop when you board. From piazzale roma where the bus takes you, the correct vaporetto was at dock C- line 1. I wish i had more time there.

We enjoyed our stay. Room was very clean. The host's employee met us at the meeting point and took us to the room explaining things as we went. There was a breakfast tray of fruit and cookies and good tea and an espresso maker. AC worked well. Thanks for a nice stay.

Our stay at CA' Barba B&B could not have been better. Our host Alessandro, communicated with us, both before and while we were there. The room was central located so walking the streets and ally ways was very easy to get around. We would highly recommend this property in Venice.

Our stay in Venice was fantastic, thanks (in no small part) to Alessandro. Not only was the accommodation well located, clean and well maintained, but Alessandro's introduction to Venice ensured that we were able to maximise our time, and our enjoyment, during our stay. From his communication and instructions prior to our arrival, right through to our departure, Alessandro has been hugely heplful. I cannot imagine a better way to enjoy Venice.

Wonderful B&B in great location!

We loved our stay Ca 'Barba B & B! Being our first time in Venice we didn't know what area to stay in but this was a gem! Great location close to everything but off the main streets in a quiet area. Alessandro was very responsive from the time of booking through our entire stay, checking in with us and giving us recommendations to try. Would definitely recommend this place!

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay very much, the location was perfect as there were many restaurants close by and close to the water bus stop. The room was very clean and the hosts were very responsive to our messages.

Nice place in a good location

Two nights was not enough in this comfortable little place. It had everything we needed, including yummy goodies!Everything we wanted to do was just a short walk away - including the Rialto Bridge and fish market (really cool to see). Don’t miss fluffy brunch nearby!We will definitely be back!!

Our stay was great- the location was easy for walking and taking the vaporetto. There are tons of restaurants close. The room was small yet comfortable. The bed was super comfy. The bathroom had everything you needed. The breakfast basket was a nice addition so you didn’t need to rush out. Alessandro’s recommendations and directions were fantastic. Of note- the room was up 2 flights of steep stairs ( a bit of a challenge for my 76 year old mom). Also , we stayed over Easter holiday and the noise from nearby areas made its way to us so we weren’t able to sleep until midnight. That may be different during nonholiday times. Overall we had a great stay.

Perfect Location

We were very impressed with these accommodations. it was close to the train station and all of the attractions and some great restaurants. If we could have changed one thing it would have been the pillows - they were have to hard and synthetic. But, overall a great stay.
