La Maison aux Volets Verts is an old sheepfold dating from the early 1800s. Built at the top of a hill, it enjoys a splendid view over a 2 hectare park, with an above-ground swimming pool and a jacuzzi. Behind the house extends a 2 hectare forest where paths have been opened, so that you can discover nature and wild life. It is a very peaceful place. The guest house is attached to the main house, but has its own entrance and terrace. The apartment consists of a kitchen-dining-living room, a separate bedroom and a bathroom with a hip bath and WC. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove with an oven, a fridge and a microwave. In the living room, a table and 4 chairs, as well as a sofa. At 2.5km you will visit the Tour de Montaigne where the famous philosopher wrote his Essays. Come and see the re-enactment of the famous Battle of Castillon, which marked the end of the Hundred Years War and at the end of which the French ended the English occupation. A few minutes from Saint Emilion, lovers of good wines will be able to discover this magnificent medieval village, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as its hilly landscapes planted with vines. On the popular market of Saint Foix la Grande, come and taste the local products, such as foie gras, duck confit, walnut oil and especially the Périgord truffle! Finally, you will be only 40 minutes from Bordeaux, the jewel of Aquitaine, 70 minutes from the sandy beaches of the Atlantic. 2 hours from the Pyrenees and Spain

Bonne adresse
