Just a few short steps from the back door of Shenandoah Manor you will find the George Washington National Forest, with opportunities for nature walks, hiking, and just enjoying the peacefulness of nature. Recently built, no expense was spared in building a getaway that your family, friends, or group will talk about for years. This lodge is just a few miles from downtown Luray, the mighty Shenandoah River, and the National Park.

Located at almost 2000 feet in mountain elevation, Shenandoah Manor offers fantastic views of Shenandoah National Park and surrounding George Washington National Forest- along with beautiful four-season views of the Shenandoah River.

Two king beds, three queen beds, and 4 twin beds will comfortably sleep 14. The kitchen offers modern cooking, double ovens, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, and everything you need for a great meal. If you'd rather cook outside, we've got you covered with a gas grill.

Challenge each other to a game of horseshoes or cornhole (cornhole is available during the summer months)! Go fishing in the pond! Sit around the fire pit, relaxing and toasting marshmallows.

New Feature! A playground for the kids has just been added- they can swing and slide to their hearts' content!

On rainy days, there is still plenty to do inside. With a game room featuring a pool table and foosball table, you'll be having fun for hours! Free, fast Wifi internet and Dish TV with hundreds of channels will keep you connected. There is a landline phone with free local and long-distance calling. There are board games to rummage through. Everywhere you turn, this house has what you're looking for!

Fantastic Views
We really enjoyed our stay here. The views are unparalleled, and the house was exactly as described. We would stay here again. However, I would recommend that the owners upgrade their linens - the sheets on the King beds were too small, and there were no extra blankets for chilly nights. Our minivan made it up the hill, but we didn't realize that the unpaved road was about 2 miles long, so be warned. Definitely worth it for the views and solitude though!

Making family memories at Shenandoah Manor
Shenandoah Manor is a beautiful house with a great view. Even the landscaping was immaculate. It easily, and most importantly, comfortably, can accommodate several adults and children. Even the four bunk beds are sturdy with thick, plush, mattresses that an adult could use (if they are not too tall). Used the hot tube as much as was feasible in late June in Virginia (kinda hot 😉). I hosted a get together with family coming from places as far as New Hampshire and Florida. All said they thought the Manor was great and enjoyed our time. The kids got to roast marshmallows over the fire pit. Unfortunately, the Canadian wildfires caused our view of the Shenandoah valley to be obscured (clearly not the fault of the accommodations). The drive up can be a little bit of a white-knuckle affair if you are not used to steep, unpaved, roads, although my wife was able to driver her tiny two-seat Miata up and down the hill. But the drive up is well worth the great view and solitude!

Clean and the best view to wake up to
Our favorite part was waking up and seeing the sun rise above the clouds. Absolutely gorgeous views and a clean home. The only unideal part is the drive up to mountain to get there, but the views are well worth it! Would love to stay there again.
