Beautiful, calm, welcoming

2 levels of ocean views; rooftop pool; 2 min walk to beach; kitchen with all European appliances and utensils; open floor plan on main level and large rooftop terrace with hammocks; bottom level has enough bedrooms (all with ensuite toilets and showers) for your whole family AND your best friend's whole family. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Retreat

The rootfop pool pictures grabbed my attention long ago, and did not disappoint. The rooftop makes a delightful place to rest and swim and enjoy the birds and flowers and sunsets and amazing views of the nature reserve. The kitchen was well equiped and spacious. The house would work well for large or small groups. The beautiful, clean beach is just a few stairs down the hill. The staff were gracious and helpful. It is a great value because the owner charges based on rooms used-- though this can be confusing if you book on VRBO where you cannot request rooms-- be sure to message and clarify the number of rooms desired. Overall, a wonderful beach getaway and a fantastic value, I hope to be back.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument formidable dans cette maison !Tout était parfait : la localisation à Popenguine, la vue, la piscine, la tranquillité, la proximité de la mer… Mais surtout, l’accueil et la gentillesse de l’équipe sur place.Un immense merci à Tiaba, l’intendante et cuisinière, qui a été incroyable tout au long du séjour : toujours souriante, attentionnée, disponible, et d’une grande discrétion. Sa cuisine est délicieuse, généreuse, et pleine de saveurs locales — un vrai bonheur chaque jour.La maison est très bien tenue, spacieuse, parfaitement équipée et conforme aux photos, voire mieux encore. Nous avons voyagé avec des enfants (dont un bébé) et tout s’est déroulé à merveille : confort, sécurité, sérénité.Nous repartons avec des souvenirs merveilleux et l’envie de revenir le plus vite possible.Un grand merci aux propriétaires et à toute l’équipe sur place pour ce petit coin de paradis au Sénégal

Das Haus, der Pool - wunderschön. Hilfreicher, unproblematischer Kontakt mit der Vermieterin.Tolle Unterstützung durch Thiaba mit ihren fantastischen Kochkünsten und beim diskreten Saubermachen. Durch Babacar, der den Pool pflegt und für alle Fragen zur Verfügung steht. Durch Ibou, der sich als zuverlässiger Fahrer und Organisator von Ausflügen anbietet.

Maison situee au centre de popenguine. 6 chambres avec chacune uneSalle d eau et wc. Grande cuisine et piece a vivre. Piscine et rooftop. Pas de clim (ventilateurs) pas de wifi. Service de gouvernante pour aide au menage et cuisine. Epicerie a proximité. Mer 50m par des escaliers.

25 février 2024 Nous avons passé deux semaines merveilleuses dans cette maison grâce à la bonne cuisine de Thiaba, à la gentillesse de Babacar et aux sorties touristiques d´Hibout. Un grand merci à Delphine d'avoir créé ce petit bijou dans ce pays extraordinaire. Une chose est sûre, nous reviendrons !!! 25 Februar 2024 Wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen dank der großartigen Küche von Thiaba, der Hilfsbereitschaft von Babacar und den Besichtigungen mit Hibout in diesem Haus verbracht. Ein großes Dankeschön an Delphine, für die Erschaffung dieses kleinen Juwels in einem großartigen Land. Eins steht fest, wir kommen wieder!!! Philippe
