About this property
NEW- Amazing Lighthouse Beach Waterfront Homes sleeps 14
Surround yourself with beachfront luxury in two of the most amazing homes in Gig Harbor. These homes were once owned by a very affluent family and used as their summer retreat. Featured in Sunset Magazine for their design and location in 1962 and updated by us in 2019 these homes are beyond amazing. Located on the lighthouse point, these two homes have everything you can imagine to vacation with your friends and family. Low bank waterfront on three sides means you are literally surrounded by water and sand beaches. Relax by the fire pit or sit and sip wine from the beach or one of the 3 decks while watching, seals, otters and the occasional whale play in the water. Watch the sun come up while gazing out over the water at Mt Rainer from your back deck and watch it set over the yachts in the harbor from your front deck. Wander over to the Gig Harbor Lighthouse, kayak to Tides Tavern or be picked up on your private dock by the Gondola for a romantic ride through the harbor. Fall asleep at night to the sound of the waves lapping on the beach and awake to water views while still tucked snuggly in your comfortable bed. Private deep water moorage means you can even bring your boat along.
7 Bedrooms, 2 kitchens, sauna, large living areas, fireplace, kayaks, 2 laundry rooms, deep water moorage, fire pit, horseshoes, swing, hammock, beach toys, family games, private beaches, and water water every where. Come play on the beach at Lighthouse Point and you will never want to leave. Please note, you must sign rental agreement be 25 years of age or older and provide picture ID upon request.

About the host
Hosted by Ann Jolie

My husband and I live in Gig Harbor. We saw this property when it went up for sale and could not pass it up.
Why they chose this property
These two homes are at the end of the sand spit, next to the Light House in Gig Harbor. The sandy point separates the Harbor and Commencement Bay which gives you water and sandy beaches on three sides. It is amazing to be just steps from the water in both the backyard and frontward. There is so much sea life that you get caught up watching the seals play or the otters, eagles and geese make their way around. Commencement Bay is also a popular whale passage so do not be surprised if you catch sight of them breaching or hunting right in front one you. You can kayak or paddle board to Tides Tavern or many other waterfront restaurants and shopping from your front yard. This property was a family vacation compound for a very prestigious family. One of the homes was featured in a 1962 issue of Sunset magazine. We decided to invest our money in legacy properties that would stay in the family for years to come. Having a deep water boat dock and being in this prime location was a deal we could not let pass us by.
What makes this property unique
Watch Mt Rainer appear as the sun rises over the water in the front yard and watch it set over the water in the backyard. You can't beat that.
