We had a lovely stay at the house in Brieres, the property is very traditional and is located in a very small very agricultural village. The village is about 10 minutes from the nearest town with a supermarket etc and is convenient for many local attractions, Reims for champagne, Lac de Bairon for a lake/beach, Charleville and Sedan for gift shopping and Verdun for WW1 history and more shopping.The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay, the rooms are spacious, there is decent WiFi, a washing machine, microwave, TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime and French language channels, a useable kitchen, a large courtyard and smaller secure garden and a shower big enough for two!Communication with the host was good (all via text messages in French but not a problem if you have a smartphone or can speak French).To the front of the house is a parking area which is probably big enough for two cars.All in all I can recommend this property and hope to stay again.

Nous étions contents de retourner au gîte après de longues ballades en pleine chaleur pour se reposer dans une maison fraiche.On a eu un très bon acceuil et une très bonne communication avec les propriétaires.

Veel ruimte voor twee personen, leuke binnenplaats. Tv functioneerde niet goed. Als je niet tegen vliegen kan, ga dan hier niet heen!!!! In de regio weinig wandelpaden te vinden, wel heel fijn rustig gebied om wat rond te toeren met de auto. Veel te zien rond WO 1. Al met al hebben wij een fijne week gehad.
