It can accommodate 6 people and even two additional people in a small annex located in the garden and for an additional thirty euros.
The cottage is composed of: - 3 double bedrooms (one with a 90 cm high bed, ideal for a child) - 2 bathrooms with shower, bathtub and heated towel rail - 1 kitchen equipped with a stove, a refrigerator, and a dishwasher - 1 laundry room with washing machine (drying rack outside) - 1 living area with television, small library and games
The owner receives and visits the premises. Many walks are possible on foot, on horseback, by bicycle but also by boat (boat rental without a license along the Charente) and by canoe.
You can enjoy the beach of Port d'Envaux at 10 minutes and you are 45 minutes from La Rochelle, 1 hour from Royan and 15 minutes from Saintes. You are close to cities of art and history such as the castle of Taillebourg, the arenas of Saintes, the towers of La Rochelle, the stone and the castle of Crazannes and that of the Roche Courbon. You can enjoy the La Rochelle aquarium, bowling alley, cinema, the various municipal swimming pools in the area (Atlantis de Saint Jean d'Angely), the Palmyre zoo, the Saintes paleosite, the Cognac cellars, the Hermione de Rochefort or the asomperie de Dompierre. For children, the small boats of Saint Savinien and its playground, the Magné farm. For larger visits, you are close to the Futuroscope in Poitiers, the Vallée des Singes and Puy du Fou. As far as we are concerned, our values remain simplicity, respect for the environment, authenticity and conviviality ...

We loved staying at the gite of the three willows. The house was lovely with beautiful artwork. The garden and pool were fantastic. Cecile and Davide were excellent hosts and their dog, Balto :)
The house is about a 10 min cycle from Saint Savienen, where you can rent boats, do shopping etc.
We would recommend this gite to anyone.
Thank you

Merci pour votre gentillesse et le respect des lieux.on espère vous revoir. Cécile et david
Family friendly gite, great as a bolt hole. Fun added extras inside for the kids. Outside area is great, pool area wonderful. Upstairs bathroom and some utensils may need updating at some point but overall all was good and we had everything we needed. Be aware the third bedroom is accessed by a steep ladder and not suitable for younger children, fine for my 10&12 year old with the help of a stair gate guard we attached.Friendly and helpful hosts. Only 10 mins from a variety of places to visit and most amenities. (Their dog is an old boy who is never intrusive and has been trained to never enter the gite, a real softie.)
We had a wonderful holiday at Davide and Cecile’s gîte. The pool is simply beautiful and the garden is huge so lots of space for the children to run around- and there is a football goal so my son was in heaven! There is also volleyball and badminton and boules and hammocks and lots of beautiful trees for shade. The gîte was very comfortable and stylish and there was air con units in the rooms. The location is excellent: St Savinien is a very picturesque town and we enjoyed playing on the river on our kayak and paddle board. Taillebourg is also excellent for dinner al fresco with stunning sunsets. Above all Davide and Cecile are lovely and made us feel so welcome. I highly recommend this property.

🤗Cecile
We only spent a night here but it’s a lovely place. The house is beautiful and comfortable. The kids loved the big garden, hammocks, tire swing and chickens. The hosts were extremely friendly and thoughtful and we had a very pleasant stay.
Just a word of warning that the hosts (who live next door) have a HUGE dog. He is very friendly but my children were afraid of him (understandably as he was bigger than them). In the morning they wanted to play in the garden but the dog chased them and they were terrified. So if you have young children this is something to consider.
But otherwise it’s such a lovely place in a beautiful part of France. We highly recommend it.
