Perfect Getaway

Secluded family friendly hideaway

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was comfortable, clean, and as pictured. The location was close to the venue for the wedding we were attending at Seven Ponds Farm. The view was beautiful and the kids had so much fun exploring the property and fishing at the pond. A very quiet peaceful place to stay for a restful weekend. Thank you!

This is our second time staying here. Great view and property! Turkeys, geese and deer were around the whole time we were there. Great location and very clean and well equipped!!

Relaxing getaway

We enjoyed our time at Highview Hideaway. This was my brother and my second time staying here. We loved it so much last time we had to come back with friends and family. So peaceful here and plenty of space for our dogs to run free!

Family getaway

We got to this property at night so we didn’t see the view till we woke up. All I have to say is Wow, what a wonderful way to wake up! The cabin was so charming and had everything you need and some. I highly recommend this wonderful property and if you do get a chance to stay here definitely take a stroll around the property. It’s pretty amazing!

The house is sparking clean and very inviting, well stocked with necessities. We were comfortable and close enough to stores, eateries etc. View is amazing, and loved watching the squirrels and chipmunks! Would love to stay again!

Great Getaway

Beautiful and clean house on a quiet hill top. Great place to unwind with family and enjoy the outdoors, miles of views including an amazing sunrise. The house is fully stocked and the owners couldn't have made our trip any better, thank you again and we will definitely try and make a return trip.

Fantastic views and fantastic hosts

The pictures don't do this place justice. The views are absolutely incredible, we went in late April and got probably the last snow storm of the year and I couldn't think of a better place to be for it. Randy and Lisa were also great about checking in with us and plowed the driveway.

This is our second stay here and it did not disappoint. The house had everything we needed for a weekend of relaxing and fishing! We spent some tome exploring the property and spent nights by the firepit. Will be returning!

The property is spectacular. We enjoyed outdoor activities and swimming in the lake with the bullfrog! There was nothing missing from the home. All we needed were our personal items. Wish we didn't live so far away.

Weekend In Cooperstown

The house was lovely, clean and well stocked. Lisa and Randy provide the comforts of your own home. The grounds were superb! We brought our dog who enjoyed running around with our son. We would love to return again for another visit! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Peaceful Mountain View

Very peaceful,wish we had more time to spend on the property. We were in the area for our grandson playing baseball in Cooperstown. The best furnished house we ever stayed in. Lisa was very helpful,with questions we had. Enjoyed watching the ducks, wild turkeys and deer in the early morning. If we're going to be in the area this would definitely be the place to stay. A beautiful home in a beautiful setting

We traveled up from other parts of NY to visit family and a birthday party. The listing photos do not do this gorgeous home justice! It is beautifully appointed and decorated, extremely clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It is private, serene, quiet and peaceful. The view from the front porch is stunning, and the property is beautiful. Lisa and Randy made sure we were ok at check in (which was very easy) and left us a welcome basket with s’mores ingredients and sticks. We spent the whole weekend admiring everything about the home and surroundings and were at the perfect distance from our family members homes. We would not hesitate to come back!

Picture perfect

Lovely, supportive and available owners. The property, HighView, sits overlooking the valley and surrounding mountains. Beautiful Fall coverage. The home itself is in excellent condition, well maintained and fully stocked. We had uninterrupted cell coverage and plenty of computer band width. Plenty of hot water for showers, dishwasher and washing machine. We had an excellent family reunion only enhanced by our stay at HighView. We hope to stay here again.

Gorgeous setting, clean and nice touches

Our family had a wonderful stay at Randy and Lisa’s rental property. The house was very clean and there were so many nice touches. They left us a basket of supplies to make S’more’s and skewers too and they even had the wood in the fire pit ready to go. The property is gorgeous overlooking mountains, wildflowers and a pond. They had mowed trails around the property that were perfect for walking/running. Our family loved all the hooks in the house to hang stuff, there were hooks everywhere, it was great!! We enjoyed the most beautiful sunset the first night we were there. We will definitely be back and have already recommended it to other family members.

Super Clean great place to stay

We visited Cooperstown and Syracuse during our stay. We went to the Baseball Hall of Fame and caught a Syracuse Mets game. We saw a lot of countryside; many cows and horses on our journeys. Our boys loved the fire pit and fishing in the pond in front of the house. The house was super clean... I mean, not a speck of dirt even under the couches where my boys looked for a toy they needed to retrieve! We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this home!

We, (Randy and Lisa) grew up in Richmondville. We both have been fortunate to have our working careers right here at the local community bank and school. Our two daughters were raised here as well as numerous extended family members. Our family ties run deep in this community and we love living here. We think you will love visiting too!

This property has been in our family for generations. Our parents built this home over 50 years ago as vacation home. It has created many fond memories for many folks.
