House with magnificent view, great comfort, near the beaches!

South of Porto Vecchio, a hill facing the bay of Santa Giulia, a residential area, a beautiful house with its hewn stone walls.
The view is magnificent, from the greenery to the sea (1400 m) by road the beaches of moby dick, piétragione, or palombaggia, are around 10 or 20 minutes. This house is for a couple, possibly with a child (less than 3 years old) its living area of 62 m² is composed of a very nice bedroom (160 cm bed) with a place for a baby bed, its bathroom with bath, shower, sink and separate wc. A large living room with full well-equipped kitchen, a dining area, a lounge area facing the bay window which opens fully to take advantage of the superb view. Both rooms are air conditioned, all windows have shutters with movable shelves, ideal for hot summers ...
On the sea side, a 30 m² wooden terrace stretches along the bedroom and the living room. It has a gas barbecue with a table and chair for meals as well as two very comfortable deckchairs ... and a large parasol .. below a private garden area allows you to leave the terrace, to enjoy the last rays of sun ...
The first and one of the best super markets is 5 minutes away, the city center or the marina is 15 ...

We loved our stay at this charming little house! The view is spectacular and the house is very well-designed and well-equipped for peace and relaxation. Close to the best beaches and convenient for touring Porto Vecchio, Sartène, Bonifacio and the mountain villages. Our hosts went above and beyond to be helpful and hospitable!

Wonderful cottage

Wonderful cottage in the hills above Santa Giulia. Kimberley and Marc were very attentive hosts and easy to communicate with, and went the extra mile to make sure we had a relaxing stay. The cottage is extremely well equipped (washer, beach umbrella, nespresso machine you name it etc). Would love to come back!

Wonderful house

This is one of the best properties we've stayed in. The house is located less than 5 minutes from the main road on a very quiet area, with distant views of the sea. You have the house for yourself. Thankfully we had A/C because it was so hot outside. The patio is wonderful and thr property owners are so nice and always make sure you git everything you need. ttootoo.

The best accommodations/hosts we’ve ever encountered!

I and my wife booked this stay based on what appeared to be a very good fit, but the reality of how great it was went way beyond expectations. Kimberly and Marc are outstanding hosts and have created a superbly tasteful and comfortable experience in this house of great value- which is a reflection of our their own integrity and high standards of hospitality. The exterior stone of the house blends into the rough natural hillside, while its interior is modern, sleek and comfortable with climate control and new appliances. It was extremely private at the end of a dirt road a few minutes drive from a key highway. Great food shopping was a close drive as was one of Porto Vecchio’s great beaches. The house lacked nothing in terms of amenities - we’ve stayed in a lot of places but never one so well equipped with all the details and items of what one might need during a stay away from home (and way better equipped than our own). They have also provided great materials and information about restaurants and sights - which we used constantly and were never disappointed with the outcome. A real standout about the experience was the caring commitment of the hosts to the success of our stay - Kimberly not only answered many questions and assisted us with extra information, but provisioned the refrigerator and pantry with generous welcome gifts that we enjoyed throughout our visit. We have nothing but gratitude and look forward to our next chance to stay chez la Maison des Amis!

Klein aber fein

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Es hat eine ideale Größe für 2 Personen und ist perfekt ausgestattet mit allem, was man benötigt. Selbst eine Grundausstattung an Lebensmitteln und Getränken für die ersten zwei Tage war vorhanden. Die Lage ist ideal für Ausflüge ans Meer und in die Berge. Von Kimberly und Marc gab es viele nützliche Tipps und Empfehlungen für die Aktivitäten in der näheren Umgebung. Von der Terrasse hat man einen schönen Blick bis zum Meer. Hin und wieder sieht man auch Wildschweine und Füchse am nahegelegen Waldrand. Die Küstenstraße ist tagsüber manchmal deutlich zu hören, nachts ist es sehr ruhig, so dass man auch bei geöffneten Fenstern und Türen sehr gut schläft. Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Ferienunterkunft, die wir ohne Einschränkung empfehlen können.

Phänomenaler Blick von der Terrasse

Es war eine wunderschöne Zeit in der sehr gut ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung von Kimberly und Marc. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Sehr schönes Haus in traumhafter Umgebung

Sehr schönes, sehr gut ausgestattetes Haus. Sehr sehr nette Vermieter, sehr hilfsbereit, sehr gastfreundlich. Der Kühlschrank war mit allem, was man für den ersten Tag braucht, gefüllt. Kimberly hat uns viele gute Tipps gegeben. Die Anfahrt (erst einen steilen Berg rauf, dann wieder runter) war für uns als Flachländer gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber im ersten Gang war es kein Problem. Wir haben die Abende auf der Terasse genossen.

Wohnen bei Freunden

Das wunderschöne Haus ist voll ausgestattet und ideal für zwei Personen. Es liegt malerisch im Wald außerhalb von Porto-Vecchio. Die Vermieter sind großartig - freundlich, hilfsbereit und vermitteln das Gefühl, bei Freunden zu sein. Der Blick auf der Terrasse in den Sonnenaufgang über dem Meer ist unvergesslich.

Un petit coin de paradis

Pour avoir loué "la maison des amis" par internet, nous étions loin de nous attendre à une telle prestation! Rien à dire hormis que tout était parfait, la maison, la vue, l'accueil, Kimberly et Marc sont des personnes très accueillantes et plus que sympathiques (sans parler des pouvoirs culinaires de Marc). Kimberly, une femme exceptionnelle et qui sait accueillir ses hôtes. Nous recommandons à qui que ce soit ce petit coin de paradis. Encore Merci à Kimberly et Marc.

Un petit paradis …

Nous n’avons passé que 3 jours dans cette très belle maison et notre seul regret est de ne pas y être restés plus longtemps! Une très belle vue de la terrasse, l’équipement et la propreté des lieux, la situation au calme tout en étant proche des plages et de Porto Vecchio et l’extrême gentillesse et attention de Kimberly …tout est parfait ! Nous conservons précieusement cette adresse pour un prochain séjour en Corse

Beautiful hidden gem!

Spacious and beautiful house with many amenities (incl. outdoor barbecue!) located in a tranquille and green surrounding overlooking the sea. Wonderful space to relax and disconnect.
