Country Setting with City Comfort
Enjoy peace and quiet! The home offers comfort and convenience while guests enjoy the natural beauty of the woods.
This is a remote, secluded location that truly allows you to relax, but if you do want to get out and enjoy some attractions, below are some approximate driving times. These towns/cities are the closest locations for groceries, restaurants, and shopping so you may want to come prepared with what you need.
Livingston - 25 minutes
Celina - 25 minutes
Gainesboro - 30 minutes
Cookeville - 45 minutes
Dale Hollow Lake - 30 minutes
Standing Stone State Park - 25 minutes
Cummins Falls State Park - 40 minutes
The open living space has vaulted wood ceilings, large windows, and a French door that offers natural light throughout. The space features a well-equipped gourmet kitchen with a large island with seating for four, a dining room table for six, a couch and chairs surrounding a gas fireplace, and a small game table.
The oversized Master bedroom has a king-sized bed, desk, and lots of closet space. The bathroom includes a large shower with double shower heads and a large vanity. Step outside the French doors in the bedroom and have your morning coffee at the table on the deck.
The small second bedroom has a queen bed and a full bathroom.
The upstairs open loft has a queen bed.
You have access to the entire main level with a private entrance. There will not be anyone below you; it is used for storage. The main level includes the master bedroom and bath, second bedroom and bath, half bath for guests, open loft upstairs, gourmet kitchen, dining room, and living room.
You have access to a large deck (over 1900 square feet) with rocking chairs, tables, and a gas grill.
There is also a fire pit if you would like to enjoy a fire in the evening (wood is provided).
You may pick any vegetables or herbs that are in season in the garden to prepare a delicious meal.
You will likely not have cellphone service but may use Wi-Fi for calls and texts. You will find it under "Settings" on your cellphone.
My husband and I live across the driveway in a separate building with our dog, Max. David and I are happy to answer any questions or assist with any needs but will honor your privacy throughout your stay. We share the driveway with guests so you may see us coming and going. Feel free to say hello if you see us in the garden during warm weather or loading the wood boiler during the winter.

About the host
Hosted by Ginger Reinoehl
Greetings! I am originally from Knoxville, TN but moved to Atlanta for Culinary school and spent almost 18 years there total. I have worked many years in the food service industry and ended my time in Atlanta as a high school Culinary Arts teacher.
I love to travel and have seen most of the USA during a cross-country road trip. I mostly camped but also enjoyed some short term rental stays. I have also traveled internationally but enjoy domestic travel more because I can drive and see more throughout my trip.
My life motto is "Always Finding the Love in Life" as I seek to find joy in every aspect of life!

Why they chose this property
I moved from Atlanta, Georgia to enjoy the peace and quiet of this area. When I lived in the city, I would travel to remote areas to enjoy time in nature and get some true rest and relaxation. I decided to move to Tennessee and strive to provide guests with a place to escape from the city without having to give up the comforts of home.
