Located 9km from the Turrialba volcano and 9km from downtown Turrialba, this beautiful home and property offer a relaxing escape from urban life. With its own organic garden and trails perfect for birding, spectacular views day and night, this home is the perfect getaway for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). Boasting tempurpedic mattresses in each bedroom, solar hot water, and reverse osmosis drinking water, it will feel like your home away from home.

The space

*Our house is now fully equipped with a 4th bedroom and therefore able to comfortably house 2 families or up to 9 people!

*We have an organic garden on-site and you may use its contents for your cooking endeavors. We also offer personal chef services with a variety of local fare, mostly sourced from our garden! Breakfast is NOT included but can be arranged as part of our personal chef services. We need 48 hours notice for chef services to be available.

*Daily house keeping can be offered at a rate of $25/day or will be complimentary one time per week if your stay is longer than 5 days.

The house is setback 100 meters from the main road, atop a ridge that provides 360 degrees of panoramic breathtaking views. To the north you have the majestic Turrialba volcano, to the east, on a clear day you can see the line of the Carribean Ocean, to the south you have a spectacular view of the town as well as the Talamanca mountains, and to the west you can see the Irazu Volcano. The driveway leads up to a one car carport. The carport enters into the kitchen which has a gas stove, refrigerator/freezer, and a breakfast bar. The living room and dining room have an open floor plan with tons of natural light. There is a half bath on the first floor. Off of the kitchen there is a laundry room with a washer and dryer. One of the bedrooms, housing a double Tempurpedic bed, is located on the first floor, off of the living room area. A staircase leads up through a majestic tower to the second floor. There is a quiet reading nook at the top of the staircase. The Master Suite houses a king sized Tempurpedic bed and in-suite bathroom which has a two person tub. The Blue Room has a queen-sized Tempurpedic bed with views of the Carribean and Talamancas with a cozy window seat. The Red Room has a bunk bed which has a double bottom bunk and a single top bunk with views of the Turrialba volcano and a cozy window seat. There is a full bathroom between them. Conveniently located, 100 feet from the carport there's across to the organic garden to harvest some lettuce, cucumbers, and tomatoes for a tasty lunch treat.

Guest access

Guests will have access to the entire property except the lockout closet located on the second floor, and the stables when not accompanied by authorized personnel.

Interaction with guests

There is a property manager who speaks English, Spanish, French, and German who will greet the guests and be available 24/7 for any questions or concerns that arise during your stay. There are Spanish speakers who will be available in the morning, and in the evening if needed.

*Our home has a carbon filtration system, water softener, and reverse osmosis on our drinking water, allowing us to boast the tastiest water this close to the volcano!
*We have an organic garden on-site and you may use its contents for your cooking endeavors. We also offer personal chef services with a variety of local fare, mostly sourced from our garden!
*Daily house keeping can be provided for a fee of $25/day or will be complimentary if your stay is longer than 5 days. .
*Our farm allows you to take a stroll up or down but most likely a bit of both leading to a good nature walk
*There are horses, cattle, chickens, and dogs on the property with authorized personnel who will care for their needs. Guests are not expected to interact with the animals, unless prior permission is granted.
*Check-out is at 10am. You can request a late check out for an additional $25 fee which will allow you to check out as late as noon. We will do our best to accommodate your request based on other reservations.
*We have a toddler kit and a kids entertainment kit that are available at an extra charge of $25 each. The toddler kit contains toys and books appropriate for toddlers such as trios, wooden train tracks, and a hot wheels track with cars. The kids entertainment kit contains puzzles, legos, and books.
