This beach cottage has amazing direct views of the Gulf of Mexico. This highly sought after condo is located in South Seas which is at the tip of Captiva Island. This means no crowded beaches, beautiful landscaping, access to the community pool, community grill, tennis and central to shops and restaurants. This condo has everything you need to enjoy a beach vacation. The full kitchen has all you need to make great meals or heat up leftovers. The dining area is open to the living room with seating for six. Relax on the comfortable sofa while watching your favorite shows on the flat screen TV. Dine alfresco while looking at the beach and ocean on the screened in lanai. Walk out of the screened lanai on onto the beach. The master bedroom has beautiful views, a king bed, television and private bathroom. The guest room has two twin beds, large closet and private bathroom. Enjoy the amazing sunsets from lanai or the beach!
There are some resort amenities that are not included in this rental. However the heated pool and the grill are adjacent to the Beach Cottage and only available to Beach Cottage guests and residents.

**A Note about South Seas Amenities
Some South Seas Resort Amenities are NOT included. Those amenities are the 9 hole executive golf course, the pool complex 2 miles north of our property (we have our own heated pools at the Beach Villas), the trolley, the restaurants also at the north end of the resort by the pools, the gym and the resort beach chairs and umbrellas (beach chairs and umbrella for your use). There is not daily maid service, but it is available for an additional charge. Per state law, there are no private beaches in the State of Florida, so you may put up your beach umbrella and chairs anywhere on the beach that you desire.

Kingfisher Vacations will only book reservations up to 51 weeks in advance.
All our properties have contact free check-in, no need to stop at the office (or a stop light none of those here)!

Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation and Sanibel and Captiva Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center are also worth visiting. Make sure you get close to the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Annual fishing trip

We recently stayed at the beach cottage for our annual fishing trip to Captiva. Check in was easy and the location was as advertised. The view to the ocean was amazing as soon as you walk in the front door. Everything you needed for cooking, beach chairs, etc. was readily available. The master bed was comfortable and the view to the beach was equally amazing from the bedroom. All of the area restaurants were just a quick golf cart ride away and the walk to the beach was less than a minute. My only complaint throughout our stay was the neighbors upstairs. Very obnoxious with running back and forth. Aside from that, our stay was enjoyable and relaxing. I would definitely stay at the beach cottage again in the future.

Family get together

Location was great. Short walk to beach and convenient to restaurants in town. Condo was clean and had everything you would need for a week at the beach. Would have liked to have owners amenities like access to golf, sunset beach and harbor restaurants. Overall it was a great experience.
