Once inside you feel like you are in the salon of a boat Open living space has a great kitchen with center island and comfortable living room with smart TV & remote control fireplace and pull out queen size sleeper sofa, 2 private bedrooms offer luxurious and comfortable beds. The thumb is a jewel with great golf courses, charter fishing, historic towns offer sites to explore including lighthouses, museums local festivals and more!! Just 1 hour north of Port Huron Onsite features include, 2 Kayaks, 3 life preservers firepit, BBQ, Satellite TV, & Free WIFI. Wildlife abounds with local fishing charters, swan and geese in their natural habitat. Rock and fossil collectors are in for a treat in 2020 the high water of the great lakes have uncovered countless rocks while pushing the beach back and its a collectors dream find your Petosky stone or one of the worlds rarest - the Pudding stone which in this area is Jasper and Quartz conglomerate . Watch the international freighters make their way with the onsite binoculars you can read the MC numbers and download the app Marine Traffic to get the details on where they have been and what they haul and where they are going!!

Relaxing Stay

Enjoyed our stay as it was very relaxing. This rental has pretty much everything you need in regards to paper products, stocked kitchen and spices. Bathroom offered shampoo/conditioner, hairdryer and thick towels. Master bedroom bed was comfortable. The TV in the master bedroom and second bedroom is a dvd player and not cable. The lake is probably 50 yards from home. Definitely rocky waters and aqua shoes needed. Enjoyed watching the sun rise and seeing millions of stars at night.

Wonderful Stay

We had a great time, great location with beautiful views , especially the sunrise, relaxing and very peaceful. Kitchen was well stocked, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Kayaks were a plus, really enjoyed them! We plan on returning. Melanie is quick to respond.

A Serene Retreat

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at Melanie's for two weeks in July 2023. It is truly a serene retreat. The location of the property is idyllic, surrounded by nature's beauty. The peaceful lake views and open yard created a tranquil ambiance, perfect for a relaxing vacation. Inside, the property is comfortable and cozy while offering all the conveniences one could ask for. The outdoor space was a highlight, providing lovely views and a nice spot for morning coffee and evening relaxation. The proximity to Bad Axe & Sandusky for light shopping is convenient. Overall, our stay at this VRBO listing was wonderful & relaxing. It's an ideal choice for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway. We look forward to returning in the future!

The views are amazing, accommodation's are cozy and well cared for with superb bedding and linen for a fantastic nights sleep and did you see the price? To rent any decent hotel room you are paying $200-300 per night - here you have 980 sq ft with the yard and all the amenities of a home. There is a walk out beach ( no cliffs or staircases to navigate)
