Beautiful beach & Comfortable home

The home was perfect for a week of peace and quite! Beach was so lovely I spent most of my time there. Actually enjoyed the exercise of the stairs to the water! Great workout! Had difficulty with the lock system to enter the home, homeowner was very quick and accommodating with the responses. Would recommend.

Beautiful Property

The location is really cool - gorgeous views of Lake Huron from the house (we saw at least one freighter a day), a nice big yard, and then a stairway down to the beach/lake. The house itself is a work in progress - it's obvious the owners have been working hard on it! The bathroom is fully updated, and the kitchen (which is REALLY lovely) was about 95% done at the time of our visit. My favorite room in the house, and a pleasure to cook in. I'm sure updates will continue, and hopefully address the two major issues we had. The first is that there is no provision for trash removal. We had to take it with us when we left. If we'd had our truck, or a shorter stay, it might not have been so bad, but we had the car, and a 3 hour trip with a week's worth of garbage was really inconvenient. There are also no dressers, and only one (locked) bedroom closet, so there was no way to unpack for the week. All in all, I really look forward to seeing what else the owners do with the property, and I would stay again.

Beautiful view of the lake and sunrise

We enjoyed staying at A Blue Dragonfly on Lake Huron. The house was very clean and extremely well stocked. The fire-pit was a wonderful spot to hang out in the evening. The internet wifi connection was great. The home was beautiful and comfortable. We would stay here again.

Nice little stay

Overall, nice interior and newer stairs to beach. I would recommend to be in “good” physical condition for the use of stairs to beach. wife has had knee surgeries so took her awhile to get up and down.

We were cozy and comfortable in Raleigh NC. Loved it there. City life has challenges. Also our parents are here up north. After COVID, we were allowed to work from home so we decided to take the plunge. Enjoy water view and sandy beach of Lake Huron! Home has been fully updated and furnished to make your vacation fully relaxing and enjoyable! We enjoy barbecue on the charcoal grill or make s'mores on fire pit in the lawn looking over the lake or or on the beach. We are minutes away from Golf Club, Parks and Trails.
