Loved this little cabin at the edge of the woods. It was convenient to the theatre in Marion and to Hungry Mother State Park. Also not too far to Abingdon for a play at BarterTheater. We shall return.
From entering the cabin, to the time we left, we were met with a warm cozy spirit. The place was clean and smelt pleasant, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The outside area was enough space to have a small fire and roast marshmallows. A great place if you are ever around marion!
My husband and I were in the area as we were driving the Back of the Dragon in celebration of his birthday. This adorable little cabin had everything we needed after a long day on the road and was very comfortable. The owner was super sweet.
Cabin was in cute location, clean, everything as stated in listing. Anything you could possibly need for your stay was there. Beautiful area with wildlife walking up to the back deck. We had a fabulous time. Very friendly town and will definitely visit again.

Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Cabin was not arranged for comfort. Couch and easy chair were both facing a wall and TV was on a wall not comfortably visible from the couch and chair. The couch is too low for older folks; it’s difficult to stand from the sitting position. The rules say do not rearrange furniture but you have to in order to watch TV or if more than two people are eating the table has to be moved. The kitchen was not clean and utensils need to be updated. The knife was so dull it wouldn’t hardly cut bread. The raised floor in front of the TV is dangerous. My wife and I tripped on it several times. Bed linen was not clean. We changed the comforter when we found a suspicious stain it.Including fees we paid 200 a night. We feel this way too much for this accommodation.
The cabin is actually very close to town but its secluded behind the property so you get a very private feel. A ton of little touches in the cabin make it so homey with just about everything you need besides food.
This was a nice quiet rental with a great fire pit and lots of wildlife. The owners lived close and were available if needed but they gave us our privacy. This was very close to the state park and downtown Marion.

Great location near downtown Marion and Hungry Mother. Clean and easy to get in touch with host. Just FYI amenities list internet but there is no WiFi/internet.
