Our family of 8 loved our stay. Plenty of room for everyone, well stocked kitchen, minutes from Emigrant for quick resupplies. Our favorite part was sitting outside for breakfast and dinners with gorgeous views of the valley. Mike is an excellent host, responsive and helpful even as our trip got disrupted by massive airline delays.
Spectacular View of Paradise Valley and Yellowstone River
We gathered in Emigrant for my son's wedding at Chico Resort and Hot Springs which turned out to be only about 5 minutes away.
The house was clean and well kept with spectacular views out the front windows. Beds were comfortable and we had everything in house we needed for our stay.
Communication from owner was excellent and would not hesitate to stay here again.
We were here for a mini family reunion, and it was perfect! If you have small kids, they will love the upstairs. Check out the toy closet! The house had everything we needed, and was close to Yellowstone, Chico, etc.
Host was easy to work with. We would definitely come back.
We had an amazing stay at this lovely place. Views are amazing, everything is exactly as advertised or better. Short drive to gardiner entrance as well
It was the perfect location for our group. We organized a fly fishing trip on the Yellowstone from the fly shop 4 mins away from the house, but we thought we might be too far outside of Bozeman to do other things. However, Emigrant and the surrounding area had everything we needed. A BBQ joint, the Saloon had live music each night, Chico Hot springs were a short drive away, and we had easy access to Yellowstone Park.
great home with all of the accommodations that you could need. Very clean and well-maintained home. Would definitely consider staying here again if I visit the area again.
Awesome place!! The views were amazing. Great neighborhood to walk in. Loved the upstairs with the pool table and toy closet. Our grandson had a blast! Very cozy and welcoming!!
We really enjoyed our stay. Very comfotable home with a fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. Plus, they had toiletries, laundry supplies and snacks! Owner was very responsive any time we messaged him. HIGHLY recommend for anyone going to the area. An easy trip to the northern side of Yellowstone.
We brought 4 of our children with us to explore Yellowstone and the surrounding area. Northside was the absolute best side to stay on. We saw so much wildlife and getting in and out of the park was a breeze. The home was perfect for us and we loved every moment of our time in Emigrant, MT. Thank you to our amazing hosts who made our trip feel like home-away-from-home!
Our Family stayed in this gorgeous, rustic cabin for 5 days and enjoyed many adventurous in the surrounding area. So many things to do. The cabin was very well stocked with things we never expected. Even had a toy closet for the Kiddos. Definitely recommend! Owners were very helpful and kept in touch with us!
Other than having to deal with a mouse or two (we're from Wyoming so we know those babies can find a way in), our stay was wonderful and the house was perfect!! Owner was very responsive and attentive. Only suggestion would be allowing more time for check out.
The house was perfect for our family of 7 plenty of room to spread out. Mike and Jodi are all about their guest! Flowers on the table and a basket of goodies and essentials just incase you forgot something. Very easy to get to Yellowstone . We enjoyed several meals in Emigrant and a concert one evening at the Old Saloon.
Perfect! Everything was great and as advertised. We were coming for a mid week wedding at Copper Ranch in Pray and a combined trip with another family from Chicago. The house was in a perfect location for the wedding and getting to Yellowstone.
The check in and out process was easy. We received the appropriate amount of communication from the owner/host.
Because everyone else has stated it “the house is so clean”. 😉. The kitchen has everything you could possibly want or need. We had four adults, two teenagers and one 5 yrs old in our group. Enough rooms for each kid and two big enough rooms for the adult couples. We enjoyed and utilized the upstairs game/movie theater space. The is enough grass around the house and we pitched a tent to check out the evening sky and stars.
I am giving a 5 star and when I come back to Montana this will be at the top of my list. We visited during the second week in July and the locals said it was unseasonably HOT. This is just an FYI, the house doesn't have central air conditioning. The owners had fans in key rooms and gave instructions to getting some air flow going.
As I stated at the beginning everything is as advertised. The latest Smart TV’s and strong WiFi many devices. It felt like being on the Ponderosa ( if any one gets that 50's TV reference) the neighbors were far enough away you didn't notice them. Enough parking space for two vehicles. I highly recommend.
The house was very nice, comfortable and had plenty of room for everyone. Loved the views of the mountains and deer that wondered through the area. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking coffee in the morning and adult beverages in the evenings. It was fun for all of us to try our hand at playing pool in the game room. We had tasty meals at the local restaurants, Follow Yer Nose & Emigrant Outpost. I would highly recommend renting this property!!
I took my family to Montana for a summer vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed this property. The views of Paradise Valley are wonderful. We were able to see deer grazing in our backyard multiple days. Rooms were comfortable and the kitchen served our large family well.
This property is an excellent choice if you are looking to visit Yellowstone National Park but also wish to stay in a beautiful home with views of the valley and mountains. It is a gorgeous 30 minute drive to the park gate in Gardener which gave us easy access to the northern parts of Yellowstone - Mammoth Hot Springs, Norris Geyser Basin, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and the Lamar Valley. The house itself has stunning views of mountains and was very comfortable to spend a rainy day not touring but playing games, cooking, and watching movies. Lots of comfortable seating areas, an exercise room, and a well equipped kitchen. Unfortunately the weather in Montana on our Memorial Day vacation was too wet and cold to take advantage of the good deck and firetable. Perhaps next time. The house is a bit hidden from the road so finding it the first time can be tricky but Mike is easily available by phone or email. As a bonus, we really enjoyed the gift basket of Montana foods and sampled every one. Thanks. It was a very memorable stay.
This home provided a relaxing space for our family trip. The house was spacious, clean and located close to the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The house was well stocked and the owners provided gift baskets of goodies and essentials. Plus, there is a green house so we had tomatoes, green peppers and beans. The scenery and wildlife were amazing!
