Welcome home to Lemon Tree Hale! Brand new renovation, Instagrammable moments throughout the huge, comfortable house finished in a boho modern design. Perfect for remote work and groups of friends and families, the house features an upstairs office/den as well as separate downstairs tv/lounge area. There is space and privacy for everyone. Expansive high ceilinged sunlit living room with multiple seating areas leads out to the beautiful lanai looking over the private salt water pool with natural salt finish. The lot next door belongs to the house and as well as offering privacy, provides extra space for gathering and lawn games. Enjoy making dinner in the freshly redesigned chef's kitchen with Wolf range and then dining out under the stars. With all day sunshine and sunset views, the house is located in a prime position on the quiet Woods course, steps away from shopping and dining as well as a quick drive away from the North Shore's Hanalei Bay and the island's best beaches. Made with all eco materials and exclusively featuring eco/toxic free furnishing and all the amenities of home, Lemon Tree is a place of joy and tranquility. Fun note: the house was originally designed and built for famed author Haruki Murakami and is now owned by another literary family who hope you will love the house as much as they do.

Lemon Tree is managed by Stay Kauai, a boutique property management company located on the North Shore of Kauai. Our goal is for each guest to feel special and to leave with a true sense of aloha. We take pride in the fact that we use all eco-friendly products in our homes and stock each house with fresh fruit, Malie Organic amenities + other island goodies. In addition to booking your vacation home, we are happy to assist you with booking any and all activities for you at no extra charge! We can book zip lining, boat tours, luaus, surf lessons, in-house massages, private Pilates/yoga classes, surfboard rentals, bike rentals, stand up paddle boards, and much more! We live here so we know the best tour guides, charters and vendors on island. Let us know how we can make your trip one to remember!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: service provided by Lisa was great. She was very responsive and accommodating. Location of property was spectacular. Cons: property was not in the condition that we expected.First, there were pest issues. We saw many insects, cockroaches, bugs, ants, all throughout the house. When we came home late at night one night, we turned on the lights and saw about 10 bugs scurrying around in the bathrooms and bedrooms. Did not feel safe after that.Second, kitchen was not in the condition we expected. Cabinets were old and paint was chipping off. Kitchenware didn’t make any sense. No wine glasses, no water cups, but just a bunch of coffee mugs and dessert cups. We asked for wine glasses and they were brought over the next day so again, great service. The kitchen condition was very 3-star and nothing that you would expect at a 4 or 5 star hotel. Third, bathroom didn’t make any sense. There were no cabinets so it was frustrating not being able to put toiletries within reach. Soap dispensers didn’t work, there was no hair conditioner in master bathroom, no shower caddies in the showers so we had to stoop down to use shampoo and body wash that were placed on the floor. Fourth, there was no closet space in the bedrooms. Master bedroom did not have a closet where we could hang clothes. There was a closet in the master bedroom that was already filled with owner’s clothes and items. It was scary opening that closet door and seeing someone else’s stuff in there. Not enough drawers in the dresser. Rooms were not remodeled.Fifth, pool was much much smaller than in the picture. Wish we hadn’t seen the picture to expect a large pool.Sixth, there was only one tv in the entire house and it was super small. We asked for a tv in the living room and they delivered a 32 inch tv which was way too small for 7 people to all watch together in such a big living area.Overall, the location of the property trumped

Princeville Pleasures

The property was spacious for our party of eight, allowing for activities for sub-groupings or entire group for dinner. It was convenient (within walking distance) to Princeville Center dining, grocery shopping, public library. The views from the patio onto the golf course were pleasant and its walking paths were an added bonus. The pool was refreshing and the washer/dryer useful. The information on beaches and other activities was helpful. We wish we could have stayed longer.

It is adjacent to a golf course with beautiful vistas and an abundance of walking trails. We walked to Princeville Center for grocery shopping, dining and public library. The layout was perfect for our 8 guests from 3 families including a child and a teenager. The interior space and patio provided plenty of room for various common and individual activities. The pool was a bonus pleasure. The house and grounds were spotless and the property manager was especially helpful. We visited Kilauea Lighthouse, Wimea Canyon, Limahuli Garden; went swimming at Anine Beach, watched surfers at Hanalei Pier. We would recommend Lemon Tree for up to 8-10 guests.
