La Remise + The Loft = 18 beds in a cozy & warm setting

At the time (as the children say when talking about our youth ...) it was a stagecoach where the horses made a stop before confronting the ascent in the direction of Nimes. The building is located in the heart of the old village and is part of the perimeter of the buildings of France.
We bought it in 2009 (160m2 on the ground and 11m on the ridge) because it has a facade overlooking our garden: what a bargain !!!!! No specific project but just the chance to enlarge the property.
Neither one nor two, Max makes the first opening so that we can communicate directly from our garden rather than going around the street. At first, it serves us garage and "big" storage room. Little by little, the idea sprouted up to make an apartment; so we cut the area in 2 and decided to start with the realization of the apartment (roof repair, creation of floors: the heavy anyway!)
It is thus that "Remise" was born in 2014 (after 5 years of work). This is an apartment of about 90m2 consisting of a large living room (about 50m2) with fully equipped kitchen overlooking a roof terrace of 20m2, without any vis-à-vis. Terrace equipped with tables & chairs for 8 people, a parasol, a plancha and ....... a pretty green area (+ 1 WC on this first level)
. Upstairs the first bedroom (bed 160cm) and the second consists of a bed 140cm & 2 bunk beds 90cm, then a bathroom with walk-in shower and thermostatic column + WC. In the garage, a place for your car and the laundry area with washing machine and dryer.
Given the success in seasonal rental, we decided to make a second cottage in the second part of the building.
"The Loft" was launched and opened in May 2016. You understand that this is the second part of the building. This part is about 140m2 and is composed, for the part in ground floor, a large living room of 80m2 with kitchen, baby foot, pinball, 2 fireplaces, 1 wood stove. a toilet and a master bedroom (160cm bed) with walk-in shower & thermostatic column. On the mezzanine, a room with 1 bed 160cm, 1 room with 1 bed 140cm & 2 bunk beds 90cm, and finally a bathroom with walk-in shower & thermostatic column, 1 WC. "The Loft" overlooks a pretty garden with trees, barbecue, garden furniture and deck chairs and a ping pong table.
The 2 cottages communicate through the garage and you can easily find 18 people in the loft for meals
