We're in quiet neighborhood three blocks from Downtown Ferndale. A quick walk & you're in the heart of the popular, artsy town. Restaurants, bars, comedy clubs, coffee shops, boutiques, and art galleries all within 1/2 mile.
We are located close to 9 Mile and Woodward, making it an easy drive to a bunch of other great areas- Detroit Zoo, Royal Oak, Downtown Detroit, Wayne State, and Berkley.

Our house is perfect for families, business travelers, social outings, or anyone else who appreciates an ultra clean and cozy space to stay.

Details about the space:
Our charming home is a well-appointed one-story ranch, completely remodeled this year. Fully fenced in yard with mature trees and perennial garden makes the patio an enjoyable spot to get some fresh air. Our neighborhood is quiet and family friendly. Many people are out walking to town and enjoying life.

The house has 3 bedrooms (including a primary bedroom w/ ensuite) and 2 full bathrooms- full kitchen, comfortable living room w/ smart TV, dining room and laundry area. We also have a small herb garden that you're welcome to pick from.
*Kid friendly: Pack N' Play, High Chair, Toys & Books, Tamper Resistant Electrical Outlets, Sound Machine, and more for the precious younger members of the family.

Please note we do have an exterior Arlo camera at the front door that is recording for security purposes only. We respect our guests' privacy.

There is a detached garage that guests will not have access to.

The “Funky Fern” was exactly as described, cute and very clean. It had a great location close to restaurants, grocery stores, expressways and a very cute downtown area. Lovely stay in Ferndale

We (2 kids, 2 parents, and 2 grandparents) had a lovely stay at this home in Ferndale. We were a bit concerned about the proximity to the railroad but ultimately it was a very quiet location. Everything was very clean, and the hosts have many thoughtful items available, including shampoo and conditioner, laundry detergent, and a variety of fun coffee fixings. There were also children's items and games. Walkable to downtown Ferndale and drivable to a lot of great Detroit attractions. The two full baths were great to have. Communication with the host was helpful and check-in was easy. Highly recommended. Also highly recommend a visit to the nearby apple fritter donut shop - so delicious!
