A paradise for cycling enthusiasts. Our house is situated on the edge of a cycle track that will take you to the city centre (5 km) or to the countryside. Take advantage of the 600 km of cycle routes in Strasbourg and its surroundings. The "Maison des écluses" is ideally located in STRASBOURG, the 90 m2 accommodation is air-conditioned. It is located on the ground floor of a house composed of 2 apartments, on the edge of a cycle path along the Bruche canal (which was built by Vauban, architect of King Louis XIV for the construction of the fortifications of Strasbourg in 1682).. 200 m from a bus stop providing a link with the city centre (3 bus stops to reach the Tram station, then 5 tram stops to arrive at Place Kléber in the heart of Strasbourg, bus frequency every 10 minutes approximately according to days and hours)

Accommodation :
2 bedrooms each with 2 single beds 90X200 which can be assembled into 1 bed 180 X 200. You will have 2 bathrooms with Italian shower and 2 WCs, one of which is separate. For your comfort, the roller shutters are motorized. A large 25 m2 lounge with a 125 cm flat screen TV will allow you to relax. The kitchen provides you with complete equipment including an induction hob, hood, oven, microwave oven, large refrigerator-freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, as well as a dining area.
Outdoor :
You will have a garden furniture and a Jacuzzi (usable until 11pm).
Welcome: We live on the 1st floor of the house and are very available to welcome you and inform you if you wish.
Transport :
By car with parking space in the courtyard (on request) or parking on the street in front of the property. By bus/tram with a stop at 200 m (one bus every 10 mn depending on the day and time). By bike on the cycle path bordering the house (10 minutes by bike to reach the city centre).

Strasbourg in September

Great location just 15 minutes by bus to the Strasbourg Central Train Station. Well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub several evenings.

Perfect Spot to Explore Strasbourg

We spent 6 nights at Jean-Paul's place just outside of Strasbourg. It is very nice (the hot tub is particularly wonderful) but the location is the best thing about the rental. The canal-side bike trail is just outside the front door and will take you to the southern 'burbs and on to the countryside. Or if you point yourself in the other direction it is a short mile or two into downtown Strasbourg. Though the spot is quiet it is only a short walk to the bus stop which can take you anywhere you want to go quickly. All in all, we loved our time in the city and in Jean-Paul's place and would highly recommend it!

Wunderbare Unterkunft

Wir waren eine Woche in der Unterkunft. Sie war wunderbar (inkl. Whirlpool) und es war alles verfügbar was benötigt wurde. Der Gastgeber war für uns immer erreichbar. Seine Tips, besondern das Nutzen des Park and Ride waren sehr hilfreich. Auf dem angrenzenden Radweg kommt man gut zu Fuß nach Straßburg hinein (ca. 3 km). Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. 🤗 Bis nach Straßburg hinein

Unser Aufenthalt hat sich gelohnt. Straßburg ist eine Reise wert. Unsere Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung kann man sehr empfehlen. Geräumig, gut Ausgestattet, das Stadtcentrum ist Fußläufig und mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel zu erreichen. Gerne wieder.

Perfekt wenn man es etwas ruhiger mag.

Wir waren für ein verlängertes Wochenende in Straßburg um den Weihnachtsmarkt und die Stadt zu erkunden. Die Ferienwohnung ist etwas außerhalb gelegen aber perfekt wenn man es etwas ruhiger mag. Mit den Buslinien C1 und C6 in Kombination der Straßenbahnlinie B kommt man in 15 bis 20 Minuten entspannt in die Stadt. In der der Stadt ist während der Weihnachtsmarktzeit sehr viel los und so kann man sich in den Trubel stürzen oder auch mal zwischendrin in einem gemütlichen Apartment eine Pause machen. Die Wohnung ist modern gut geschnitten und gemütlich. Die Betten waren mit die bequemsten die wir bisher in einer Ferienwohnung hatten. Die Betreuung durch die Eigentümer war sehr angenehm und freundlich. Auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

Grundsätzlich alles o.k., Appartement ist schön, beinhaltet alles was es braucht, Betten sind gut.

Gesamteindruck sehr gut, ausser: bei offenem Fenster kann man nicht schlafen (Bahnverkehr sehr laut) Wir haben 2 Schlafzimmer gebucht, mussten aber für das zweite vor Ort nachzahlen, das kommt aus der Anzeige nicht hervor.

Eine traumhafte Woche am Canal de Bruche

Die Wohnung entsprach genau unseren Vorstellungen und dem Internetauftritt, alles war sehr sauber und sehr gepflegt und wurde beim Einchecken perfekt erklärt. Schöne Ferienwohnung

Schöne Ferienwohnung, von der wir schnell in der Innenstadt waren. Jedes Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Bad. In der Küche hat es auch an nichts gemangelt. Die Vermieter haben uns sogar mit einem kleinen Starter-Paket im Kühlschrank überrascht. Abends konnte man sich bis 23.00 Uhr im Jakuzzi von den Unternehmungen des Tages entspannen.

Sehr schöne Wohnung und sehr freundliche Gastgeber

Die Wohnung ist genau so wie auf den Bildern gezeigt, alles sehr sauber, viel Platz, liebevoll hergerichtet und alles da, was man braucht. Sogar im Kühlschrank hat Herr Hugel für uns eine frische Milch, Marmelade, Butter und Brot bereitgestellt. Auch Tee und Kaffee, Zucker, Gewürze, Öl und Essig waren auch schon da. Man fühlt sich sehr willkommen und diese kleinen Gesten sind wirklich nett. Die Lage ist auch sehr schön, man kann immer am Kanal entlang bis ins Zentrum von Straßburg zu Fuß gehen, sind ca. 3,5 km. Wir haben kein Auto und Bus gebraucht und konnten alles zu Fuß machen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder und bedanken uns nochmal ganz herzlich für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Angehemer Aufenthalt

Angenehme Vermieter, gute Ausstattung, sehr gute Betten. Ruhige Lage, die Bahn stört nicht. Ideal für Reisende mit Fahrrad. Wie auf den Fotos zu sehen, wäre es Zeit sich um Sofa und Sessel im Wohnzimmer zu kümmern. Uns haben Gartenmöbel gefehlt, dann hätten wir draußen essen können.

Es hat an nichts gefehlt

Die Wohnung war für uns (2 Paare über 60) der ideale Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung von Straßburg. Ruhig gelegen, mit einer Ausstattung zur Selbstverpflegung, die nichts offen lässt. Komfortaustattung mit Induktionsherd und Backofen. Ganz hervorragend der Jakuzzi auf der Terrasse, in dem man sich nach dem "Füße plattlaufen" herrlich entspannen konnte. Die Betreuung durch Jean -Paul bereits im Vorfeld der Reise und die Tipps vor Ort rundeten unseren Aufenthalt in Straßburg ab. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen, da wir die Adventszeit im Elsass kennenlernen wollen und die Wohnung ein toller Ausgangspunkt ist.. Vielen Dank für einen schönen Aufenthalt.

Sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung mit sehr netten und fairen Vermieter

Wir haben den Aufenthalt wirklich genossen und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht und zusätzlich dazu hat uns Herr Hugel sogar essen für den Start bereitgestellt. Das ist wirklich sehr aufmerksam und alles andere als selbstverständlich. Es gab keine versteckten zusätzlichen Kosten. Die Bilder entsprechen auch der Wohnung. Wir haben uns sehr sicher und geborgen dort gefühlt. Es ist alles klar geregelt und ordentlich abgestimmt durch Wohnungsübergabeprotokoll und der wohnungsmappe mit allen nützlichen hinweisen rund um die Wohnung. Die Lage ist perfekt. In 45 Minuten kann man schön am Wasser entlang nach Straßbourg laufen. Trotzdem ist es sehr ruhig direkt am Wasser in Feldlage gelegen, nur der Zug fährt sehr oft vorbei aber daran gewöhnt man sich recht schnell. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Es war toll.

Short famiiy of four Christmas Market tour

Jean Paul and Ann were amazing hosts. This property is perfect for exploring Strasbourg and the surrounding area. The entire home (it’s much bigger than an apartment) was decorated for Christmas and we loved the look as soon as we walked in. Gets you in the spirit for the local Christmas markets! Perfect for a family of 4 but much bigger than most homes to rent in the area. The hosts had milk, orange juice, bread, jam, and coffee for us so we didn’t have to rush out and shop. Kitchen was perfect for saving some money on dining out and everthing you need to cook is there. Both barrooms were very new and modern and had “rainfall” showers with a ton of space. Living room and dining area were great to sit and talk and relax. Home has a gated area to park in and is next to a biking and walking trail along a canal if you want to ride your road bike or walk the area. We’d recommend this home to any family staying for 2 days or longer in the area and will be back next year for a longer stay!

Erholsamer Urlaub im Grünen mitten in der Stadt

Obwohl man in Straßburg ist, kommt man sich im Maison des Écluses in Montagne Verte ein bisschen vor wie auf dem Dorf, denn das Haus ist von Gärten umgeben und liegt sehr ruhig am westlichen Rand von Straßburg. Hin und wieder fährt ein Zug vorbei, ganz selten ist ein Flugzeug, das vom Straßburger Flughafen startet, zu hören. Das Rauschen des Wassers an der ehemaligen Schleuse (Écluse) des Canal de la Bruche stört nicht. Die Wohnung ist sehr komfortabel und hochwertig ausgestattet. Es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer (1 double bedded, 1 twin bedded) mit jeweils einem Bad ensuite. Das Doppelbett hat zwei sehr bequeme Matratzen und zwei Bettdecken. Die Bäder sind topmodern. In jedem Schlafzimmer sowie im Wohnzimmer sind Fernseher. Die Küche ist mit Induktionsherd, Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine/Trockner, Kühlgefrierkombination, Mikrowelle, Backofen, Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine und reichlich Geschirr sehr gut ausgestattet. Hier macht Selbstverpflegung Freude. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt eine Mappe mit Einkaufs- und Restauranttipps und der Vermieter erklärt, wie man gut und günstig ins Stadtzentrum kommt. Zum Empfang fanden wir Baguette, Kaffeekapseln für die Maschine, Tee, Zucker, Milch, Konfitüre und Butter vor. Bäckereien sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Maison des Écluses liegt am östlichen Ende des Canal de la Bruche. Von hier führt ein guter Radweg bis nach Soultz-les-Bains, auf dem man auch schön spazieren gehen kann. Mit dem Fahrrad kommt man bequem in 15 Minuten ins Straßburger Stadtzentrum. Auch eine Radtour durch das Europaviertel ist zu empfehlen. Vom Maisons des Écluses aus kann man mit dem Auto gut Ausflüge in die Umgebung von Straßburg machen. Zur Ferienwohnung gehört ein Autostellplatz. Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder gern wohnen, wenn wir nach Straßburg kommen.

Logement trés agréable

Nous avons passé un trés agréable séjour dans ce logement propre et refait à neuf. Trés belle vue sur le jardin de la salle à manger et douche italienne top ! La maison est au bord du canal de la Bruche, idéal pour ceux qui aiment le vélo ou les balades à pied. Le centre de Strasbourg est à 10/15 min en voiture. Mr et Mme Hugel sont trés accueillants, sympathiques et disponibles. Je recommande !
