Family vacation

We were looking for a private, yet close to town property for a short family getaway. This was PERFECT! It provided the seclusion we prefer along with a private swim dock. 2 different decks were also available. The host was always easily reachable for whatever questions I may have had! Excellent overall experience!

Wonderful home

We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend! We had a blast. The property was very well maintained and the cove and dock were perfect! We would definitely stay in this property again and highly recommend! Amy and Chris were very prompt with communication and attentive to our questions. Thank you!

Great time on the lake!

Nice house, property and driveway a little

The house was very nice and clean, well maintained for sure. The bathroom connected to the kitchen was not ideal. The beds are very very loud and old. Anyone sleeping upstairs will be heard downstairs all night. The driveway is a terror, and the lot is very unkept. There is an above average amount of bugs on the lot due to how much brush, leaves and such. If you have a boat do not take it in this property. You can’t even park in the slip on the dock. The driveway is also unkept with loose gravel and requires a 4x4 truck to navigate it. As stated in the listing do not use the boat ramp, but what they don’t say is it’s simply dangerous unless launching something by hand, but no vehicles for sure on that ramp. The house is located next to a marina where people are always pulling in for gas. We had a fun weekend, but we won’t be staying here again for sure. They also charged us $40 for a missing pillow and $20 for a missing broom. We have teenagers so we just paid it but we have never in our 30+ VRBO rentals ever had any damage, deposits withheld, or charges sent to us like this. We didn’t take a pillow? And we sure didn’t take a broom?!? Lol
