Wonderful location easy walk to everything, TRUE SKI in SKI out, you can come back to condo for lunch. Beaver Creek named best overall ski area for 2016! Note to Parents, if you go out the rear exit of the garage and across the small bridge there is a great jungle gym and a small sledding hill. My grandchildren love this feature. In the summer I have a wagon under the spiral staircase with 2 children's chairs, 2 adult chairs, small ice chest, blanket etc. for concerts in the park behind our building. In the winter I have sleds in the wagon.... (chairs may be under master bed, window side)

I purchased this Townsend Place condo pre-construction, LATE 80'S. Remodeled (Feb 2011)…This is MY second home, furnished and finished to a 'T' Townsend Place is located between the condos 'Creekside' and 'Oxford Court' Just opposite Scott Hill Road and the Boarders.. From Townsend Place you can walk to Vilar Center, main ski hill or the shopping center/ ice rink without ever having to cross the road. GREAT advantage for families with children who venture out on their own.
CENTRALLY LOCATED SHORT,2-3 MINUTE WALK TO VILAR CENTER,ICE SKATING RINK ETC, 5 MINUTES TO CENTENNIAL LIFT (MAIN LIFT) SKI SCHOOL ETC...….**** FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE ALL DAY AND INTO NIGHT***, EITHER ON A SCHEDULE OR YOU TEXT the APP for Village Connect and they are usually there at the condo door within 10 minutes.....
This Unit is in Beaver Creek... not down in the valley where early and late snow can be psoriatic.
DO NOT BE CONFUSED WITH OTHER '"2 bedroom units'" in Townsend Place this is a LARGE 3 bedroom condo (1364 sf.) the small 3rd bedroom is really considered a bonus room with sleeping area) Condo has 2 levels (great for older kids/privacy, or a second couple), other 2/2's in Townsend Place may actually be a 1 bedroom & den with 800+ sf. or some 1 bedroom corner units have added, mmmmm a bedroom where the dining table should be????
The first floor bathroom has has a walk-in shower. A full bathtub/shower is upstairs.
As you can see by my photos and Grandson** I have tried to make this condo as child friendly as possible, books, games, DVD's, ** Grandsons are older now, high schoolers, they work part time for VA and live in Beaver Creek
KITCHEN IS WELL EQUIPPED: condiments: s/p, flour, sugar, cooking oil, vinegar, spices etc.(and a list of restaurants!) Micro/convection oven, lots of pots and pans, baking dishes etc.
Full size washer/dryer w/ Tide Laundry detergent All linens provided,. Linen service uses HOT WATER

Heated ski room with Private locker on the first floor for equipment. Back stairwell area has snow board storage. Parking for 1 auto. Additional vehicles can PARK in the parking lot at the base of the Mountain. Oversized vehicles must park outside.
Beaver Creek (rated one of the BEST in the WEST) has THE BEST ski school(now offering a GONDOLA for beginners) and BEST terrain for any beginner. Excellent BLACK DIAMOND runs, see photos attached.
I once worked as a ski journalist. Skied the world from South America to Germany and back....and BOUGHT here!!!
The living room has a WOOD burning fireplace ( I do NOT provide firewood/ easily available at grocery store) , leather sofa (pull out sleeper/queen size) rocking chair etc. .. DVD and CD's with games and books galore.
Large Dining room table, for great meals, card playing, puzzles etc... great family time.
Small balcony off living room with table and chairs....small gas grill. Not sure of availability of propane as I am not there between tenants, easy fill at Home Depot a few minutes away.
Fabulous Outdoor Hot Tub for summer or winter use, LARGEST IN BEAVER CREEK. Hot Tub is shared with other TP tenants.
Each bedroom has it's own TV . Large Master bedroom has king bed, desk and chair & printer, dresser, nightstands and a comfy sitting chair, flat screen TV ,Ceiling fan, luggage racks. Room for crib if needed. ( Please NO wipes into toilet/ there are really NO wipes you can safely flush! Flushable wipes invented by plumbers!)
Large bathroom with walk in shower. Upstairs bedroom has set of bunk beds and a KING bed ,dresser, closet, ceiling fan and a large bathroom, double sink, combo tub/shower. SMALL 3rd bedroom( really considered a bonus room) is almost wall to wall bed! the Queen bed touches 3 walls; head and foot and one side comfy queen size, dresser, tv and hanging space...Combo fan/light.
Please NO SMOKING, of anything?!! NO PETS ( you lose 100% of your $500.00 security deposit if you do smoke, or bring a pet. On site management Kitchen has:, ice maker, blender, mixer., crock pot

Our family of 5 stayed in this condo over Christmas and had an amazing vacation. The unit was clean, easy to access and conveniently located close to the Beaver Creek Village. I would absolutely recommend this unit!

Enjoyed our stay at very much! Our host was incredibly responsive and helpful. Location is amazing - short walking distance to town. Unit was cozy cabin chic - perfect for the setting! Love Beaver Creek!
My colleagues and I rented Kristi's place while attending a conference in Beaver Creek - The location is excellent and easily walkable to and from the village. The space was as described and perfect for our needs.
We had a great family vacation recently. Condo is clean, well equipped and was an excellent fit for our family of 4 plus our nanny. We loved the location, truly ski in/out and a very quick walk to bc village. Everyone enjoyed their stay.

Kristi's condo is great, has everything a family needs and is in the heart of the BC village. Highly recommend for families (or for anyone). 5 stars all around. We will hopefully be back soon and will definitely stay here again!

The ski in/ski out was very convenient. while many rentals and hotels claim to be in ski in/ski out, this is legit. a 3-4 minute walk from the base of the mountain as well. great hot tub, great accommodations, we highly recommend.

We had a great time at Kristi’s condo. It is great for families and had the most well-stocked kitchen I’ve ever encountered at a VRBO. The location is very convenient to BC village. Highly recommend.
Great location easy access to lifts, ski school, and dinning. Fit our family of 4 great could have easily had 2-6 more in the condo comfortably.

Past ski journalist/love Beaver Creek. On site management if needed. Conde Nast Traveler 'BEAVER CREEK #1 ski area!!' Previously a ski journalist I bought in BC as I knew it is a premier destination ski area. The best is teaching my grandchildren to ski.... I bought this condo pre- construction in the late 80's, as I am in my 80's now, am skiing less, BUT my grands are skiing more. Nothing better than watching them enjoy a sport I was introduced to by my father, so many years ago in Syracuse, NY. . My daughter recently bought a condo at Highlands West-view 204, a true 3/3 easy ski in ski out, Larger, just more money to rent. . THE SUMMERS ARE SPECIAL AND A FABULOUS SECRET.... people come to the mountains to ski BUT stay on because of the wonderful summers. .
Why they chose this property
I choose BC because it has the BEST overall conditions. Fabulous ski school located in an area not so large you 'lose' people. The BC/Vail ski school is one of the best in the world. I wanted my Grandchildren to have the best experience available.... and they have. You can too by skiing here. Condo is located on Village Blvd. just opposite Scott Hill Road, between Oxford Court & Creekside condos.(on the Beaver Creek Mountain /ski in ski out) so much more convenient than other properties... easy walk to ice rink (don't even have to cross a road) or short walk or free shuttle to Centennial Lift, or ski to Elkhorn Lift.
What makes this property unique
******FREE PARKING FOR ONE CAR, that is ONE CAR second car would need to park at the base lot) *****My property is a good value and furnished as my second home, not like a typical rental unit. Furnished like VERY Expensive rentals. Platinum rated!! Kitchen has top of the line microwave and a fully stocked condiment cabinet, S&P, flour, sugar, spices, cooking oils, coffee, tea, etc More than ample number of dishes, glasses etc. Each room has its own TV and C/D or DVD player, having the second bedroom on a different level gives you lots of privacy. Jungle gym and sledding hill just behind the building. Ample dishes & glasses (Service for 12), you don't have to be constantly washing them!! Some of the units in Townsend Place have been given a low rating, old furnishing and small (that is because some owners are calling a 1 bedroom with den a 2 bedroom, OR a few took a one-bedroom corner condo and added another bedroom where the dining area WAS! Guess you eat in bed.
