Spacious and open 3 Bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home. Covered balcony on 2nd floor living area runs the full width of the house and has a new wrap-around, open deck on the lake side for more privacy and great views of the Texas Hill County. Lots of stars out here to gaze at too! Watch all the deer in our vacant lot next door from the balcony!

Lago Vista has 7 waterfront, gated parks for residents and guests only, along with 3 boat ramps in the neighborhood (currently closed due to low lake level), a fishing well, as well as a neighborhood pool, a new gym, tennis and pickle ball courts to use during your stay.

If you like to play golf, Lago Vista Golf Club is in the neighborhood and one of the fairways is across the street from the house. Balcones Canyonlands Wildlife Refuge is about 10 minutes away for hiking and birdwatching.

Grocery Store in Lago Vista is 5 minutes away (Lowe's and Brookshire Bros.); Flat Creek Winery and Bistro 10 minutes away; Cedar Park is 15 minutes with lots of restaurants and shops and Round Rock Outlet Mall is only 35 minutes away...PLUS lots of wineries and antique shopping available in nearby Texas Hill Country towns with beautiful drives to get there!

No pets allowed and 6 people maximum staying at home.

Beautiful, relaxing home away from home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay this beautiful home. We spent the entire weekend cooking, talking, watching movies and enjoying the beautiful deer on the front lawn. The house was clean and well appointed, the owner was lovely to work with and the listing was completely accurate. Thank you so much for making this lovely home available for rent. We hope to be able to stay there again someday.

Serene Setting

Stayed there with three other ladies and we loved it. So peaceful and quiet with the deer coming up each morning and evening. Four slept right on the lawn one night. Kitchen is really large and the beds are all night sleeping promises in store. One of our favorites we have rented in our 19 years of traveling together. The balcony is perfect for coffee drinking in the morning. We loved it and Jane was great!!!

Perfect Getaway ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My family & I have just returned from a wonderful week at this beautiful property. The setting is perfect, so peaceful and quiet. Sipping tea and watching the family of deer on the front lawn and the wild birds feeding throughout the early morning hours from the large wraparound upper deck was a particular favorite way to start the day. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you need and more. Plenty of space - we all had our own bedrooms for time alone and a large inviting kitchen, dining and lounge area for hanging out as a family. I just wish we could have stayed longer. Jane, the owner made everything so easy and stress free.

Lovely Texas Hill Country Retreat

We couldn't have found a property more suited to us for our 5 month stay in the Texas Hill Country. The wrap around porch provided views of Lake Travis, herds of deer, and plenty of bird watching. The spacious house was very comfortable and had every amenity you could want. Unlike some rental properties that only have the bare kitchen basics, this one had everything you would have in your own kitchen. The property owners were very gracious. They were quick to respond when we had questions and went to great lengths to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They couldn't have been nicer. I highly recommend this house for anyone wanting a quiet, scenic stay in a beautiful part of Texas.

Super Great Time

Such a great house and location. The deck and the view was spectacular. The host Jane and her husband were so nice and helpful. Don’t waist time rent the property today. We will definitely be back and visit with our deer family.

Home away from Home

We were looking for a winter vacation property and were impressed with the many good reviews this property had previously received. We were not disappointed. A very clean and comfortable home. We had great communication with the owner/property manager. We especially enjoyed the outside deck and the deer that visited the property. We have already booked a return vacation for next winter.

Relaxing and Restful; Adult friendly!

We were able to communicate from the very beginning with the owners. Instructions were clear and the guest pass to the various parks was very much appreciated. Great suggestions on things to do and places to go. The openness of the living space and large deck make it great for entertaining. If we would have grilled we found the grill grates needed cleaning off first. Nice quiet neighborhood with plenty of deer to see!! Watch out when driving they are very plentiful. The view to the lake is in the distance but the sunsets were very enjoyable. We enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend the home.

If you are looking for a quiet getaway look no further

My husband and I needed to get out of the city and this was the perfect quiet getaway. We especially loved the large patio where we enjoyed coffee and breakfast morning and the grill in the evening. Deer greeted us when we arrived and every evening which made it very special. Our hosts were also very responsive to anything question we had during our stay. Would recommend staying here to any of my friends.

Paradise in Lago Vista

We had a great time at this property. We are a family of 4 and there was plenty of room to spread out. The house is close to lots of activities. We rented a pontoon boat for 2 days and a sailboat for one day. We enjoyed being out on the lake. There is also a rock beach not too far from the house where you can bring chairs and relax on the water's edge.

What a wonderful hill country hideaway!!

We enjoyed our trip to this lovely home. We cooked several meals and had all of the needed kitchen pots and pans etc. Very clean and comfortable. ❤️ We will definitely come back! Thanks Jane for the excellent communication!

Nice property near Lake Travis

The house was well stocked and very clean. The beds were comfortable and all appliances were in working order. The deck was very nice and had lots of comfy furniture to watch the wildlife in the wooded neighborhood. The home is walking distance to the lake and there are parks with lake access nearby. We really liked the area and may come back in the future.

Great stay!

We had a group of 6 and the house comfortably fit all of us and was very spacious. The layout and kitchen were very open, and we really enjoyed making brunch on Saturday morning. Jane was very helpful with recommendations of things to do in the area and she was also very responsive to any questions I had. We would definitely recommended this to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and fun time near Austin. Thanks again!

Amazing place to stay near Lake Travis

This place was absolutely beautiful. The perfect place to celebrate the 4th. Great view of the lake. My friends and I had a wonderful time hanging out on the deck. BBQing and deer watching. I’ve never seen so many wild deer in a residential area before. I would love to come back and stay here again! Jane was absolutely on top of every aspect of our trip. She was well organized and extremely helpful with her beach and firework location as well as other helpful information.

Awesome place to stay while in Austin

Six of us tennis teammates/moms/friends spent a most enjoyable weekend here. The accommodations were outstanding! Everything was very comfortable and very spacious and clean. We loved the upper floor patio, the family of deer below and the hummingbirds right in front of us! Next time, we will make plans to spend more time in Austin so we can hang out at this home more! Everything about it was great!

PERFECT PICK!

A friend of mine requested a quiet get-away by the lake where her closest friends could get together and just relax for her bachelorette party. This house was perfect for us! Besides, the amazing view, the deck was perfect for relaxing and grilling steaks! The entire house was clean, comfortable, and extremely quiet and well kept! I also must say that the owner was more than helpful and was a pleasure to rent from! My wedding will be coming up soon and I would love for my girls to take me back to this house for one weekend! Just an amazing place to sit back and have your GIRLS GET AWAY WEEKEND!

Wonderful Property

I stayed here with my brother and his family for 2 nights over Easter and loved the property. Nice lake views from the huge upstairs patio. The beds were very comfortable and the home is nicely appointed. The large kitchen was fully equipped and very functional.This makes a big difference. Other VRBO properties I have stayed in had nothing. Not ever salt and pepper. Thank you for sharing your home. It was a great place to stay!

Texas family who loves the water and the Texas hill country. We searched for a house that was open, bright and had views and we found just the house we liked in Lago Vista. The deer are fun to watch from the balcony upstairs and it is nice and quiet out here. We also own the lot next door, making it extra private for guests. The location is great because it is on the north side of Lake Travis, which is the wide open side of the lake with less boat traffic and less people. Lago Vista Golf Club is minutes away with one of the fairways across the street. This is a great place to gather with family and friends in a quiet family neighborhood.

Why they chose this property

Open floor plan is great with wonderful views of hill country and lake attracted us. It is also very quiet and restful with lots to do in the area. We love all the deck space the property has to offer for family gatherings in this quiet, family friendly neighborhood.

What makes this property unique

Quiet end of Lake Travis, golfing, shopping, hiking and wineries! The vacant lot next door gives house more privacy and is great place to see all the deer from the expansive decks!
