Tom and Jérôme welcome you at the gîtes"Le Sud"
They move from the U.K in 2013 to this fabulous part of France. and have since run the business very successfully with special care of the service given to their guests.
Tom Jordan is Scottish and lives in London and Thame for over 30 years, he work in the entertainment business with the Miss World organization and run successfully a bakery in Thame for 12 years. His moment of fame was to dance with the late princess Grace of Monaco. Tom is very warm and takes pride in his attention to details. He particularly loves his Kobuta Lawn Mower as his lawn is his pride and joy.
Jérôme Dubois is French and has been a baker since 14 years old, He lived in north west of France until 18 then move to Germany in Frankfurt for 5 years where he perfected his skill as a baker, He then moved to the U.K and carried on his passion for baking in London, he became head baker of the world famous Harrods department store where he extended his knowledges of baking. Through his years at Harrods he got the opportunity to travel the world work in the famous Mitsukoshi department store in Tokyo and work for 4 month in a Japanese bakery to enhance his skills. He also took part as a guest star at "the Generation game " with Jim Davidson and made numerous appearances in TV show and commercials.
He then decided to open his own bakery in Thame where he stay for 12 wonderful years before moving bask to France.
He run not only the business of gîtes rental but offer as well baking courses for non- professional and has his own radio show every Monday on expat radio . His love of nature and gardening show all around the garden and parks.

There is tons of things to do , perfect from rambling, cycling, kayaking, fishing, exploring historical monuments, beautiful medieval villages, taste the specialties of the area like foie gras walnuts , asparagus etc.... Explore great cave some witch have been use for over 25 000 years, breathtaking landscape etc...
The climate is mild and mostly sunny perfect for families or relaxing holidays, there is always something to do at the gîtes or in the area.
You could just relax in our complex with our large heated swimming pool, games for everybody , trampoline, football and badminton field, boule pitch, swing table tennis, barbecue facilities all in a park of 15 hectares.

What makes this property unique
Gîtes "Le Sud" is a complex of 4 cottages on 15 hectares of parks and woods with a large heated swimming pool, The beauty of the places is perfect to relax, The lodgings are spacious and individual with their private terrace. There are also tables and gazebos dotted on the parks are available to guests. A large covered yard with a large table is available for all with 2 barbecues, a charcoal and a gas one. We are committed to maintaining the properties clean and to advise you as best as possible for all your requests. It is an old Quercy farmhouse with lots of charm in an exceptional region for its beauty and history. People are welcoming and friendly with the southern accent. The climate is mild and warm.
