Picture perfect location

You know it is the perfect location when you get to sit on the balcony, enjoy a glass of wine, and witness 5 weddings and multiple photo shoots. The photos and descriptions of the unit are spot on. This condo has all of the beach feels. It is decorated beautifully. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Location & Time at Sapphire Beach!

Sapphire Jewel VI is a wonderful condo in a great location!! The hosts ensured everything was ready to go, and the check-in process was very efficient! The hosts also provide a very helpful and detailed "guide book" outlining great places to eat, places to visit, and things to do during our stay at Sapphire Beach Resort! It was a wonderful experience!

Loved the room!

Everything in the room was exactly what we needed. The view was incredible, room was super clean and was equipped with anything we could have wanted. The bar was nice to have on site (with the most amazing burger) and the beach took a minute walk to get to!

Super Location

We had our home on St. Croix Rented and wanted to visit some other Islands. The beach and reef here are outstanding. Property is located very near Red Hook. Lots of restaurants and all the boating opportunity you could want. The condo is as described and very comfortable.

Great location! Very clean and well equipped. I was traveling alone for work and was in and out of the condo at various hours and always felt safe. IMO, the best place to stay on St Thomas based on location to Red Hook, nice beach access, availability to onsite coffee shop and beach bar.

First time visit to St Thomas

Traci was wonderful to work with from day 1 of booking to arrival and was available for anything during our visit. The unit is exceptionally clean and modern. The balcony view of Sapphire Beach with a morning coffee was the best way to start every day. Traci gave us a lot of pointers including car rental from Paradise Car Rental. They met us at the airport with the car and picked it up when we left. We spent a day at St John on Maho Beach which was my favorite beach of all the ones we got to see. We spent a day at Water Island at Honeymoon Beach. Traci had a book in the unit with all excellent places to eat. We would highly recommend renting this unit.

Sapphire Experience

I can't say enough about how amazing our stay was at Sapphire!! It was our 1st time to St. Thomas and after exploring the St. Thomas and St. John we decided it was the best choice for us to stay. The room has the most amazing views of the ocean and the condo is super cute and very clean. We had all of the amenities of home and enjoyed every moment. We had will definitely be back!!

Truely A Jewel

The condo was very comfortable with every amenity we could have wanted. The view off the balcony with the sound of the waves and breeze putting us to sleep nightly was priceless. This property exceeded our expectations. After viewing many of the other properties during our stay, we agreed we really lucked out to find such a perfect property for our stay. Perfect Stay

We had an AMAZING experience. The hosts thought of everything to make our stay just perfect. There is so much to do right there at the property that we really didnt even to have to leave. Yet, we were only a mile from Red Hook and were able to enjoy all that was there (including the ferry to St. John). The location of the rental within the resort was also perfect (equidistant between the pool and the beach). The view from the balcony was INCREDIBLE! Photos can't do it justice. Loved this condo and location!

I highly recommend staying here. We had to write the owner a couple of times and they responded and took care of everything quickly. Greatly appreciated. The property is great and has their own beach with free chair usage (only the white ones, don't get yelled at for using the others.. haha) It's a small island so everything is within a 30 minute drive. Condo was well equipped and clean. We had everything we needed. The view from the balcony is the best place to start and end your day.

Worst experience on VRBO ever!

Biggest waste of my money and worst experience on VRBO ever! Mold covered closet. Horrific sewage smell in the entire unit. This unit is falling apart and needs LOTS of repairs - total mess. Patio was covered in grunge left over from bird poop, old BBQs and more. Linens smelled oily and sweaty.

A dream stay at sapphire

We had the best stay here on sapphire beach. Traci made everything wonderful. Checkin and out was a breeze. We rented the jeep they had on hand which we found out later was WAY cheaper than anywhere else (take advantage of it)! The room was clean and perfect. Exactly as described. Just a stones throw from the beach which was perfect as we were traveling with our elderly mother and my kids. It was so nice to go to the beach but also go back to the room independently. No car needed. Sooooo nice. They had all the things needed for snorkeling with the sea turtles (pool noodle for floating, flippers and goggles). We saw sea turtles, sting rays and more! Sapphire beach is one of the most beautiful on the island. You are also just about a mile away from secret harbor which is a great swim for smaller kids. It is a must do for snorkeling. When sapphire had a rougher windy day on the water we headed here. It is like swimming in an aquarium. Although I was glad we weren’t staying directly at secret harbor it made for a lovely day and they have a very wonderful restaurant on site. Do this! Overall our stay was perfect. If you are thinking about staying here or their other condo on sapphire (we rented both) DO IT!!! You will NOT regret it!!!

Top Notch

We had a great time for 4 days at Sapphire Beach resort in this condo. It was recently updated and was beautiful and comfortable. It was exactly as pictured in the details. I loved the shower as it had great water pressure and loved the newly tiled updates. We met the owners as they happen to be on sight and were very nice. We had one breaker get tripped that impacted the wifi but the owner came right over to fix it so it wasn't even an issue. The Sapphire Beach Bar food and atmosphere were awesome. We also had pizza and wings one night from the pizza place that is on site. I went to the little morning coffee shop every day. The breakfast sandwiches were good. Ice tea was great but the best part was the service. I didn't get her name but she worked the counter and was always pleasant and personable. So nice to get such great service with bright smiles and positive attitudes. We were able to visit Red Hook a few times and it was so nice on how close it was. Great tacos from Duffy's Love Shack and just a fun place to go. Agave was also good and we loved the street corn.. it is a must if you go there. We will visit again for sure!! Go do it!! Be sure to set your expectations properly...

I'll start first with the positives: the unit was exactly as advertised. It was RIGHT on the beach and the beach was very nice. The unit itself could use some updates but overall was comfortable and generally clean. It was wonderful to be able to sleep with just the screen doors closed and listen to the ocean while drifting off to sleep. There was also nice snorkeling gear to use in the condo and snorkeling off of the beach was very enjoyable. The owner was very helpful and responsive. However - I should have done more research into the "resort" itself. While the pool itself was beautiful and clean, the pool bar/grill provided a backdrop of a boarded up, rotted out, rusty, disgusting shack. The bar furniture was in a heaping rusty pile right near the pool and looked like it probably hadn't been used in years. The bar itself looked moldy and was all boarded up in places and had garbage strewn about the grounds. It really made the pool experience unpleasant. There was a "beach bar" located between two of the buildings on a path to the beach with overpriced drinks that had minimal alcohol and a surly, intimidating staff. They served food here but it looked questionable at best. So there really were no viable options for food anywhere within the resort - and if you don't rent a car it would be quite inconvenient to stay here. Also, although we were told the beach chairs were open to guests, we were accosted at one point while sitting on them by a woman from the dive shop and she was quite rude, demanding $9 for each chair and not even giving us the chance to explain that we were guests. Ultimately I would not return - not because of the unit itself, but because of the overall condition of the general property and lack of amenities. We were very disappointed.

Best view from rental/hotel I've ever seen

Best view from rental/hotel I've ever seen...and that says a lot. Unit was as described, with all essentials and many extras. Snorkeling was good, as were beach and pool areas. We didn't find better snorkeling on STT or STJ (although we visited a number of recommended sites). We took car ferry to STJ and hiked Ram Head Trail, and highly recommend it. I was a little anxious about taking the car ferry, but it worked out fine.

Short trip great spot
