Our charming split-level cottage offers the perfect blend of secluded tranquility and convenient access to downtown Highlands. Nestled on a heavily wooded lot 150 feet above the main road, you'll feel completely away from it all while being just a 10-minute walk (less than half a mile) from the first restaurants and shops.
With a comfortable 1500 sq ft of space, our cottage comfortably sleeps 6 adults and 2 children.
Upstairs:
The main level features a cozy living area with seating for six, a wood-burning fireplace, and a 50" 4K TV with a Roku for all your streaming needs. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area make mealtime a breeze. This floor also has two bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: Queen bed
Bedroom 2: Queen bed
Downstairs:
The lower level is a private, separate space accessed by an outdoor staircase. It includes two more bedrooms and a full bathroom:
Bedroom 3: Queen bed
Bedroom 4: Custom-made bunk beds (two twin beds), perfect for kids.
This floor also has a private entrance, a 43" 4K Smart TV, and a Wii game console for family fun.

My name is Will Pichard. My wife Abby and I live in Tallahassee, FL. We love to travel and especially love all that the Highlands, NC area has to offer. We are excited to open our home to others to experience the beauty of Highlands, NC!
Why they chose this property
Feels like a real cottage. Close enough to walk yet feels off the beaten path! Great location, location, location, location! Some of our favorite trails and waterfalls are minutes away. Or go canoeing in one of the beautiful nearby lakes, also only minutes away.
What makes this property unique
Anything outdoors - thats what attracts us to Highlands, western North Carolina, and the mountains. We travel all over the world seeking out beautiful scenery, hikes, waterfalls, and adventures! Some of our favorite trails are within a few miles of Highlands, NC. Have we found the perfect place for our mountain cottage?
