Windward Pointe condominiums sit directly on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico in Orange Beach. Windward Pointe #1401 is 1260 square feet and offers six sliding glass doors opening onto the 90 feet of wrap-around deck from all bedrooms and living room. Features include: WIFI, private balconies, full-sized washer and dryer, and satellite TV. Spectacular views of surf and sand are augmented by the sounds of the waves. Beach views can be enjoyed from every room. The floor-to-ceiling windows along the east wall in the living area let in the natural light and allow for breathtaking views. The fully-equipped island kitchen including two ice makers and plenty of counter space makes entertaining a breeze. The King-Size Bed in the master bedroom; a queen bed in the second bedroom; a set of twin beds in the third bedroom, and the queen-size sleeper sofa make accommodating up to eight people easy. Each bedroom has a flat screen TV and balcony access.

Windward Pointe complex offers all the amenities you could want with indoor/outdoor pools, a children's wading pool, an indoor hot tub, sauna, well equipped exercise room, stainless steel grills by the beach and pool, covered pavilion and tennis/basketball courts. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available in the summer season for daily or weekly rentals.

The view was excellent. However the rest was not great. The interior of the property needed a top to bottom, really good cleaning. Or it needed updating. Everything just looked tired, including the very old furniture in the living room. It looked dirty and quite worn and really was just not comfortable at all to sit on. Honestly I felt like it needed to be disinfected before sitting on it. For the price we paid, I would not stay there again with the condition it was in.

Overall Nice Property

My family and I stayed for a week at this location. The location itself was nice and relatively close to restaurants and shopping. The condo did match the photos, however there was concrete repair to the outside deck that was not in the photos. This unit was not the only one but particularly to this side of the building likely from weather. The bedrooms were as pictured, mattresses were comfortable, and the bathrooms were also as pictured. The unit was nice and had everything needed, but we gave an overall 4 star rating because the unit needs a good deep cleaning. We would stay here again.

Perfect location

Condo was as listed. Check in couldn’t have been easier. Wonderful view of the beach and water and we were able to see lots of sea life from the balcony. Would definitely stay there again.

A Blessing!

Need a shot getaway to the beach? This place is a blessing! Excellent views of the gulf, sunrise & sunset. Hosts were very accommodating and gracious. Simple rental process. I can't say enough about this place. We will definitely be back soon. Thank you this wonderful blessing.
