About this property

Luxury Estate Living on five acres with a pool minutes from Downtown Beaufort

Welcome Home! This spacious home is located on 5 beautiful acres that include a large pond, where you can sit on the dock and feed the fish under one of the 10 oldest and most majestic live oaks in the Lowcountry. Relax under the stars below the palm trees in a Hot Springs hot tub that has a chaise lounger for maximum relaxation. Swim laps in the 40-foot pool or just lounge poolside in the screened-in lanai with premium lounge chairs. Enjoy the gorgeous view through expansive picture windows overlooking the 200-acre woods in the back. Take a five-minute stroll down to the Brickyard Point boat landing to launch a kayak, go fishing, or just watch the incredible sunset. It feels as if you are in the mountains, but you are just a short drive away from downtown Beaufort, Parris Island, and the many beaches of the Lowcounty.

INTERIOR: There's something for everyone in the family in this spacious Lowcountry house: Wall-mounted big-screen Smart TVs in the living room, rec room and master suite (with DIRECTV); beautiful pool table and work station in rec room; master bedroom with king-size bed on main; jetted tub and separate step-in shower in master bath; Jack and Jill bedrooms upstairs with queen-size beds and their own full bathrooms; full kitchen with bar, stainless refrigerator/freezer, range with glass stovetop, large pantry, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig coffeemaker, Bosch dishwasher, and stainless dual sinks with disposal; formal dining table overlooking the pool, expansive back yard, private playground, and forest; huge lodge-style open living area with views in every direction and a 65-inch Smart TV; large fourth bedroom with bunk beds and its own full bathroom with double vanity. There is a full laundry room with top end Whirlpool and steam technology.

IMPORTANT: Pool is climate controlled April through October. We cannot keep up with the temperature difference in the winter month. However, the hot tub is always perfect no matter the temperature!

Bring a boat to launch from the Brickyard Point Boat landing just a 1/4 mile down the road. There is a huge amount of parking to park the boat/trailer, plus room to enjoy a game of basketball outside with an adjustable basketball goal.

USMC Graduation
We enjoyed having enough room for all 7 family members. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and had some great family time after our Marine graduated! We were greeted daily by a black chicken on the porch which my dad enjoyed!

Amazing
We came down for the air show and my husbands birthday. From the moment we arrived we were not disappointed. The pictures do not do justice to the beauty for this property. We took advantage for the pond and the river for fishing, the pool and hot tub for swimming and relaxing. I loved that the property is tucked away from the busy highways of Beaufort but still plenty close enough for going out for food and site seeing. Our kids loved the property as much as we did. We plan to come back and bring our boat to take advantage of fishing on the river. Great break for us from the droning day in day out of home, jobs and school.

A Beautiful Home with a few minor issues
This was indeed a beautiful home that easily accomodated our 7 adult family members (as long as two were willing to sleep in bunk beds). Everything is up-to-date and well maintained. We had everything we needed, which is not always the case in home rentals. The location is good, especially if you want privacy and don't mind being a fairly short drive to the surrounding towns. Our only issue was that the pool maintenance person somehow caused a leak in an outside hose line our first day that we reported to the host. It required significant communication with the host over our brief stay. There was also a leak in one of the upstairs bathroom toilets that required us to turn off the water there. Tim and Stacey were very pleasant, but we were frustrated by our inability to stop the leak after trying everything they suggested. And they were frustrated because they couldn't get anyone to come out on the weekend to fix the issues. While it did not create a situation causing us to leave, texting and calling back and forth did affect our overall enjoyment of the weekend. Hopefully that is not something that would affect other renters.

Why they chose this property

We love the Lowcountry and fell in love with this property because of the walk to the water, the historic live oak and the feeling of being one with nature.
