The villa features a 300-mÂČ tabebuia-wood terrace, an 11 x 4-m private and secured infinity pool (with outdoor shower), four 20-mÂČ double bedrooms (160-cm beds), two 25-mÂČ double bedrooms (160-cm beds), five bathrooms, and a hammam. An 88-mÂČ living room/kitchen opens onto the swimming pool and a 10,000-mÂČ ground is filled with wild olive trees and naturals essences. Five separate toilets. This stunning abode, nested in the heart of the Corsican maquis shrubland, overlooks the sea and the dry pond of Chevanu. Early birds preferring the salt water and the warmth of the Mediterranean wind rather than the swimming pool do not need a car for reaching the prettiest beach located only 600 m away.

About the host
Hosted by Jacques Cesari
Digestive surgeon practising in Ajaccio. I wanted, along with my brother (a villa constructor) and my sister (manager of Meremaki), to revive the commercial exploitation that represents a lifetime of hard work of our parents. We wanted to spread the sense of hospitality that they taught us with this house.
Why they chose this property
Having 25 years of experience in seasonal rental (camping and bungalow cottages), initiated by our parents, the family-oriented Meremaki company modernised and positioned itself into the luxurious villa sector. Personalisation as much for geographical position as for finishing, started to the architectural elaboration of this project. Our main concerns were the respect for the environment (building integrated into the maquis shrubland, the conservation of natural flora, and water savings) and a warm and personalised welcome for our guests.
What makes this property unique
A modern villa, very well equipped within a natural, wild and unspoilt environment with a swimming pool, close to the sea, with a hectare of ground at your disposal. Halfway between Bonifacio and Porto-Vecchio (a half an hour by car away). Figari airport is very close.
