About this property

Located in a hamlet on the heights of Beaulieu sur Dordogne, this old barn is converted into a 320 m² dwelling house with open spaces, 6 bedrooms, 4 shower rooms, 3 WCs. It offers a superb view and is ideally suited for several families.

On the ground floor, a kitchen with a 5-gas cooking piano and 2 ovens open to the dining room with a large table of 12 place settings and a living room with a central fireplace; two bedrooms each with a double bed, a bathroom with shower and bathtub and a separate toilet.

On the first floor, terrace at street level, a bedroom with a double bed and bathroom with shower and a bedroom with two single beds, two bunk beds and bathroom with shower; a separate toilet.

On the second floor, mezzanine with an office space, a bedroom with two single beds, a bedroom with a double bed, shower, bath and WC.

Outside, a large private garden with trees with several areas, terraces and swimming pool.
The 4 x 9 m by 1.5 m deep swimming pool is secured by a safety bar cover in accordance with regulations.

In the south of Corrèze, near the lot, in the Dordogne valley, the house is on the borders of Quercy and Limousin near Beaulieu sur Dordogne.
By car, apart from the essentials of Beaulieu sur Dordogne, Collonges la rouge and Rocamadour, you will travel through some of the most beautiful villages in France.
Many activities are possible for both children and adults. You can stroll and discover the wonders of nature along the many hiking trails.
The villages not to be missed: Bretenoux, Castelnau, Loubressac, Carrenac, Autoire, Curemonte, Turenne, Martel.

Agréables vacances

Le gîte, spacieux et confortable, est niché dans un environnement boisé très agréable. Un vaste terrain alentour permet de s'adonner à diverses activités; piscine, ping-pong, raquettes, tir au but, cabane dans les arbres, boules, cueillette de fruits... Il est proche de commerces et de nombreuses randonnées. Les pièces communes sont particulièrement propices à la vie en collectivité. Bibliothèque et jeux divers bien fournis offrent de belles possibilités du kapla pour les plus petits au puzzle 1000 pièces reconstitué en famille... A noter un bel équipement ménager très performant.

Une maison de vacances idéale

Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas encore la région, sachez qu’elle est sublime : énormément d’activités à faire, des paysages magnifiques, de superbes villages… Région a recommander impérativement aux amoureux du calme et de la nature. Concernant la maison, nous n’en avions jamais vue d’aussi bien équipée. Absolument tout à été pensé par les propriétaires pour que vous passiez de superbes vacance entre amis ou en famille, notamment avec des enfants. Le jardin est magnifique et propose une cabane, une table de Ping pong, des arbres fruitiers à l’ombre desquels vous pourrez profiter d’une sieste sur un hamac… La piscine est juste parfaite et très grande! La maison est immense et propose de très grands espaces de vie, donc une salle de jeux incroyable pour les enfants à l’étage. La literie est également d’excellente qualité. S’il faut proposer quelques améliorations, nous pourrions penser à : - proposer des draps et serviettes à la location, car cela prend une place folle dans les bagages - finir seul fermer la grande chambre du haut, qui manque vraiment trop d’intimité (murs + vraie porte) - isoler le sol de l’étage, car lorsque les enfants se réveillent absolument toute la maison est réveillée aussi ;-) (du jonc, peut être?) Malgré ces toutes petites imperfections, nous reviendrons avec un IMMENSE plaisir!!! Merci encore!

Beautiful home in the peaceful countryside

The house and gardens were absolutely stunning. Lots of space and privacy between upstairs and downstairs. A pool and a treehouse, my two children were in heaven. The house is well-stocked with everything you need to cook, as well as games and books which we appreciated. The hosts were lovely to work with, and rented us sheets and towels which was important as we were coming from far away. The house is deep in the countryside, which we very much adored how peaceful, calm, and beautiful it was! I highly recommend it!
