At the entrance of the Ouzoum and Ossau valleys, between Pau and Lourdes, this renovated barn is ideal for a quiet stay in the countryside where you can enjoy your meal under a covered terrace facing the mountains .
The surrounding valleys will be the starting point for your hiking or mountain biking and winter sports in the resorts of Gourette, Artouste, Val d Azun (skiing, snowshoeing, sledding ..).
The wild rivers will offer you beautiful rafting, canyoning or kayaking and will delight trout fishing enthusiasts.
For cycling enthusiasts the mythical passes of the Tour de France, Col du Soulor, Col d'Aubisque, Col du Tourmalet are waiting for you!
Nearby you can visit: the Asson Zoo (5min), the Bétharram Caves (15min), the city of Lourdes and Sanctuary (20min), the Château de Pau (30min), The Artouste train (45min) and you can reach Spain by the Col du Pourtalet 50 min.
Laurent the owner will be delighted to make you discover his farm located at 300m of the lodging and you will be able to taste its farm products, to ride you in ponies ...

Lovely Gite in a great area for exploring!

My husband and I spent 5 nights in the gite, tastefully decorated and with everything you would need for comfortable stay. It is close to so many attractions,, most within an hour away. The shower was fab, with the massage jets, comfy bed and living area. Loved the balcony, lovely and big and so nice to come back to of an evening. Thank you all for your hospitality, lovely family!

Le top, le lieu était parfait, hôte très gentil, seul petit bémol, nous sommes arrivé à 15h et pour notre 1er soir on aurait aimé le SPA a bonne température malheureusement le locataire d'avant n'avait pas refermé le SPA et donc a 21h il était encore a 34 donc on a pas pu en profiter le 1er soir dommage... Sinon le top nous reviendront

Enchantés par notre séjour dans un gite propre, agréable et fonctionnel. Grande terrasse.

Situé dans le "Piémont" entre Pau et Lourdes, à deux pas des montagnes (Col du Soulor, col de l'Aubisque..), nous avons été reçu chaleureusement par nos hôtes, toujours disponibles et de bons conseils pour les randonnées aux alentours. Nous avons pu découvrir ainsi une nature encore préservée et de grands espaces survolés parfois par les vautours. Côté gastronomie, n'hésitez pas à franchir les portes des fermes et à découvrir les délicieux fromages de vaches et brebis. Le gite comporte une cuisine aménagée, un vaste séjour avec une grande baie vitrée donnant sur une belle terrasse (vue paisible sur la campagne). Une salle de bain et 2 chambres complètent l'ensemble. Après les promenades, se reposer sur la terrasse un verre de Jurançon à la main, permet de terminer la journée idéalement. Nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour, remercions vivement nos hôtes et recommandons ce gite. Des Normands sous le charme.

Away from it all in Asson

The property is located in amazingly stunning countryside, but only a short distance from the town of Nay where you can find everything you might need for your holiday. The cottage is beautifully decorated with everything you might need for your vacation and the family are delightful - we would recommend anyone to stay with them and we hope to return soon.
