About this property

Green Cedar Lodging - your play and stay destination.

Green Cedar Lodging is an updated and remodeled shed house located just 2 blocks off main street. Platte offers resturants, coffee shops, grocery store, gas stations, churches, quaint shopping and nice parks within minutes. Also we are located 15 minutes away from the beautiful Lake Frances Case on the Missouri River, famous for fabulous fishing, water sports, and state parks. New outdoor aquatic center 4 blocks away. Lyric theater shows movies on the weekends. Our bedrooms, bathroom and laundry are located up stairs in what we call The Loft. There is a fully equipped eat in kitchen on the main floor. We have a small sitting area with large screen TV there also. The large garage is great for games, socializing and pets. . Outdoor amenities include grill and patio furniture. There is off-street parking for boats and trailers. Accessible to electric outlet for plugging in boats. Owners live on sight, but do not share the guests entrance, or living areas but are available if needed. Quiet hours 11 pm - 6 am. Will consider a discount for 2 or less guests with no pets. Inquiries welcome.

Family reunion weekend

Had a wonderful time visiting family in Platte. This space gave us a perfect option if the weather had turned bad and forced us inside. My husband and I, my sister and my cousin enjoyed relaxing in this comfy space at the end of our fun filled days with family! Would come and stay again!

Fun place to stay!

It’s a fun spot with a pool table, ping pong table, dart board, and lots of room for family time! The bedrooms are cozy and comfortable. There is a very nice bathroom with plenty of towels. The upstairs loft has a really nice kitchenette while you also have a full kitchen in the main downstairs. The hosts are very nice and ready to answer any questions you may have. It was a truly pleasant experience and a wonderful home away from home!

Great Multifamily Getaway

We enjoyed a quiet Thanksgiving here with our two families following a pheasant hunting trip. The property was spacious and there was something for everyone to do. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. Would absolutely stay here again.

Unique and fun place to stay in a quaint town

We loved having some family down time in this beautiful place. Lots to do to keep our kids busy. The town is quiet, friendly, and off of the beaten path. Karl and Carla were amazing and helpful hosts. The city pool was very nice too. Would definitely come back to this lovely "shouse" for a getaway. Very family friendly.
