My grandparents built this home in 1971. We are 4th generation Alaskans. My Great Grandparents help build the Alcan Highway. My Grandfather, Art Reinikka was the Chief/Deputy Engineer overseeing the USACE Corp on Elemendorf AFB in the 1940's. My husband I enjoy Alaska and raising our family here.
Why they chose this property
This home is built with Finnish deign. Our family is 4th generation Alaskans. My Great Grandparents help build the Alcan Highway. My Grandfather, Art Reinikka was the Chief/Deputy Engineer overseeing building Elemendorf with the USACE Corp on Elemendorf AFB in the 1940's. He was also the President of the Pioneers of Alaska and very active in the development of city of Anchorage. We enjoy Alaska and raising our family here.
What makes this property unique
This home has a lot of windows that allow natural sunlight in each room, a large deck that overlooks the inlet. It has a beautiful landscaped yard with lots of privacy.
