About Tim & Lisa Wightman
We love Asheville & visited for many years. We fulfilled our dream building a vacation home in the mountains & want to share this beautiful home with others so they may enjoy the sounds of nature away from the hustle & bustle.
Tim & Lisa Wightman purchased this House in 2002
Why Tim & Lisa Wightman chose Fletcher
The unit is at the end of a road almost to top of mountain via concrete road, where you will experience peace & quiet with the sounds of nature. Enjoy nights on the deck viewing millions of stars.
What makes this House unique
Secluded BUT not remote with easy access to many area activities.
100% refund if cancelled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Extended family trip
Great home for multiple families with the two separate kitchens and living rooms.
Great house layout!
The house had a great layout for our families with each being able to have their own space. The driveway is very difficult to navigate the first couple of times until you are used to it. The location is definitely off the beaten path but close enough to a grocery store. The lake pictured of the website is so overgrown that we could not even find it. Overall, we had a great visit at this house!
Great girls weekend!
Property was very clean with a very well stocked kitchen. The back deck is nice and peaceful for your morning coffee or evening glass of wine! Directions were great and everyone enjoyed looking though all of the travel literature for ideas of what to do in the area. It was about 30 minutes to downtown Asheville, 15 min to Sierra Nevada and 15 minutes to a great hike at Bearwallow Mountain.
Long Girls Weekend
The house worked great for our big group of Girls. Nice location, convenient to get Lyfts, ubers and taxis if need be. We enjoyed the open space downstairs.
Overall a nice place to stay
The house is charming and oh so peaceful! Clean and well kept with all the necessities.
